If you ever went abroad (on an airplane) carrying your sex toys (especially vibrators) with you - how was going through customs? How many vibrators did you take with you? Did the customs officials ask you to open your suitcase and show them what is inside? Can they do that if they see you're carrying too many?

I'm asking because I'm gonna have to undergo this procedure in several months and I'm pretty certain there's gonna be more than one vibrator in my suitcase. I'm putting them in my heavy luggage suitcase, not in my hand luggage one, but I'm still not sure whether it may be a problem or not.

The most important thing would be to see what regulations the country you're going to has regarding sex toys. My guess is that your experience would be very different in the Netherlands then it would be in Iran.

You can also send them via postal mail, but I guess this is only good if you will be travelling to one location only.

They can see what it is when you send it through the xray scanner. I'm sure they'll just point and laugh at it. Unless your importing several dozen to sell you won't need to declare them.

Just make sure if you have a toy that vibrates when you go through customs to take the batteries out or make sure it wont start vibrating it could turn in to a big thing with customs. But like baba ghanoush said they will see them going through the x-ray and they will snicker at you.

I would keep them in my carry on just because I wouldn't want the bag hanndlers touching my goods.
