You might want to look at the Vixen Smooth Operator instead of the Tantus Small Silk. The Small Silk is a great dildo for hand operation, but it's a bit small for pegging (you can't really get into the thrusting without worrying about it slipping out).

I have no personal experience with MMF, but I have read several erotic romance novels that deal with this issue, and you would probably rally enjoy these books. Seriously. My best advice is to openly talk with both of your partners and maybe peruse EF with them both. Agreed. Experimenting couple asked about specific ideas, if Bi guy felt comfortable discussing specific acts then he was answering the question very appropriately.
