Honestly, it depends completely on the guy (and his penis) as to how I've felt about it. I've had bfs where I loved giving them head, and others where it was something I mostly did just to reciprocate sometimes.
Part of it is because some guys want to control the bj, which kind of defeats the "giving" part of it. Once in a while that's fun, but not all the time. It's best to hold the power and be able to tease them a bit if you want to.
