Do you ever moisturize your privates? Do you do it consistently, occasionally when the need arises, never felt the need to, or never even thought about it?
If you moisturize, what are the product(s) you use?
Only directly after shaving. I just use regular hand moisturizer. I used to use a fancy product special for preventing ingrown hairs, but I realized that the plain stuff worked just as well.
I suppose I could have put "only a couple times in my life" because that would cover it as well. I've only done it a few times, like txymxy, directly after a full hair removal. I've done it a few times after what seemed to be a particularly close shave, but most recently it's only been after getting waxed. For some reason that did make my skin seem a little dryer in certain areas on the mound and outer lips. Dab of body moisturizer seemed to do the trick just fine.

Never have, actually. The shower gel stuff I use works extremely well, and I'd actually be concerned putting lotion on a freshly shaven area might cause irritation and clogged pores. So I just go au naturale
Never thought about it cause my parts are and have always been silky soft. I don't have rough dry skin going on down there!
Even though I don't get infections from anything, I don't want the type of moisturisers I use to accidentally enter my vagina - or ass for that matter.
I didn't know that anyone would ever need to do that. I don't, as I'd be afraid that I would get a yeast infection or irritated skin at the least. I don't moisturize after shaving down there because I've never felt like I needed to.
I know they do make intimate moisturizers, but I always thought that was kind of gimmicky. I guess it may be one of those things that some people need and others don't.
I don't "moisturize" the inner labia, that would be asking for an infection in my case. If I am dry (and since I've been on HRT it isn't really a problem) I only moisturized with lube during sex.
I do use either Bath and Body Works Body butter or Sensual After Shave Oil on my mons after shaving. But, not on the labia.
There are products, like Replens, that moisturize if your vagina is dry. Or, if it's bad enough, you may need an estrogen supplement.
I used lotion once or twice, but I noticed that most of the lotion just kind of sat there and felt nasty on my skin, rather than absorbing. It also made me feel warmer and a little more sweaty pretty quickly.

The answer options don't quite fit our situation. The Yes lubricant we use has a combination of Shea butter, cocoa butter and other ingredients that also act as moisturizers. So for us - she get's a moisturizing treatment every time we have sex - on average 2-3x per week.
I don't shave down there and I'm really sensitive to product getting in that area, so I don't. I don't see the point really, everything seems to be pretty soft and smooth down there!
