I know that this may very well be my skin just overreacting to something "new", but I took a bath lastnight with my dona bath foam. YUMMY scent, but I felt itchy afterwards. Has anyone else experienced this? I do have to say that I felt rather "relaxed", since this was my first bath in MONTHS (don't worry everyone, I still SHOWER LOL!). So it was nice, but the after effect was much less enjoyable .

Anyone else have this issue? Im afraid to use the other two bath products I received from that line now too. Which is a major bummer because I was really looking forward to using the bath milk. *Sigh*. Any suggestions?

Honestly, I had the same experience with the dona chromotherapy bath treatment. My skin went scary red like a lobster and I felt SO itchy. I was really disappointed because everyone goes on and on about how Dona is so great but for me it was a nightmare. My skin is sensitive but most products I have tried in the past (from other brands) have been fine...except for this one.

Oh wow... I didn't know this, but I've never used a bath product that resulted in itchiness.

I have a ton of Dona products but none of the bath stuff. None of it has ever made me feel itchy. They're all awesome to me. I'm sorry you can't enjoy them. You must be allergic to something in it or at least sensitive to it.

It could just be your body's reaction to the ingredients. I have used several of them and had no problem at all but one of my daughters, who happen to have sensitive skin dabbed a bit of the lotion on her leg and broke out in hives in less than 2 minutes. I don't even let her near the tub now until I have cleaned it thoroughly after my bath, I don't want this happening to her anymore.

Definitely sounds like an allergic reaction to me. That's too bad, can you return the items?

I have used the whole line of products and have not had a reaction. However it does sound like you either have an allergy to the products or maybe you were reacting to a bath after that long without a tub soak. My husband itches like mad if he doesn't take a bath for a long while and then hops into my tub with me. That is with no products in the tub, too. Just be super cautious and if it is a reaction, do not use any more products.
