In a couple of reviews this was mentioned, I believe they said that it was "shimmery" rather than glittery. I can't quite recall though. It was one of the top voted for reviews on the product if that helps any

Most of the reviews said that it was a shimmer rather then chunkier glitter.

Yes sweet, its more of a shimmer. I didn't find that it had actual chunks. it is a pretty smooth product as far as the glitter is concerned.
