Is cheaper better?

I have found that some of the cheaper toys are sometimes better than the more expensive toys. Does anyone on here agree with me? If so what toys have you found are pretty good for a cheap toy? Also what are some toys you might have spent a good bit oof money on that were a disappointment?

I agree with you sometimes that is the case. Though I find cheaper toys are usually nice and strong, but they tend to be more noisy, or made of gross jelly. also cheap price wise could be different for everyone, I think under $30 is cheap.I really like the wevibe salsa and Touch and those are around $80 so I guess I prefer mid range price to the slightly more expensive such as my Lelo Liv which I had purchased for a decent price at $97. I got the Lelo mona as well for $120 and I think that was a little too much, for how much I use it especially. I really want to try out the Leaf collection as long as I can get them onsale for less then $100.

I rarely enjoy a cheap toy; in my experience it either means poor quality materials or weak vibrations.

I think out of every 5 cheap toys I purchase, maybe one is good. This of course doesn't include glass, because that tends to be relatively cheap and I love my glass toys.

I have multiple cheap vibrators, and only 2 are really good. My velvet touch by Doc Johnson was number 1 for a while, until just recently when I bought Ina 2 by LELO. Another I got on assignment and it would sell here for $30 but is insanely rumbly! Unfortunately I have way more buzzy crappy vibes. In the end, I'd rather spend more.

Cheap toys are generally a turn off.

Sometimes you find gems that are great values and not that expensive

My go-to vibrator is cheap. It's strong as hell, but makes quite a bit of noise. Luckily my husband is a heavy sleeper. lol

I definitely have been very surprised and happy with some of the cheaper toys. I was sooo disappointed with the Opus and Roae....and Gigi and Mimi. I was sooo happy with Lulu, and am very happy with many of them in the $30-50 area!!

Here is my thing: If I buy a toy for 15 bucks and it outperforms a 80 dollar toy but only lasts for a month... It is worth it.

If I buy an 80 dollar toy and it underwhelms me and breaks 2 months in... I'm going to stick to the cheap model that I have to replace but gets the job done.

Cheap is sometimes better but I really like the whole rechargeable thing.

I agree. I love my California Exotics bullet vibe more than my expensive WeVibe :s Sad truth. About $40 less expensive, too.

It depends for me. I have some high end toys that I just don't care for at all -- they're not powerful enough, or the shape doesn't work right for me. I also have high end toys that work amazingly for me.

Then there's the cheaper toys... some don't work for me, others really work wonderfully for me. It all depends.

My cheap glass toys never let me down, but some expensive vibes I've tried have. And the Hitachi is also so much better than the expensive vibes I've tried so far. It has even lasted years for me.

Not really but I do think it's a good idea to get cheaper toys and then upgrade if you feel it's necessary because like you said, sometimes they ARE better than their more expensive counterparts.

It really depends. I feel like cheaper toys are really more hit or miss than I think they are. It depends on the definition of "cheap." For some, cheap is $10 while cheap to others is $40. I haven't been disappointed with toys I paid $30 for (which isn't cheap for me) but the less it costs from there, the greater chance I have being disappointed with it.

I think thats very popular when it comes to the vibrating rings for men. Seems like the less expensive are the most pleasing but the Tor II seems quite popular, but LELO seems to work magic with their products lol
