Have you left a sex toy out and it was found by someone you didn't intend to see it?

I live with my grandparents, so even if they did see a toy of mine, I doubt they would know what it is!

Everything is locked up except some muscle massagers we leave out. I'm pretty sure my MIL saw our nudie pics though lol. We stored things in the inlaws' shop while moving and it flooded and a bunch of boxes and furniture got wet. Inlaws went through everything to get rid of the moldy stuff. We went out there later and found the polaroids in a very accessible drawer

I would say the same if my 80 year old grandmother saw anything from our toy box, too! I had to explain to hear a few weeks ago what "69" meant as we were chatting about something a teenage cousin wrote on her Facebook page. She was mortified! Guess I won't be quite so open to her on that topic!

Busted but it turned out not to be a big deal. it was just a friend who saw it, so it didn't matter that much.

Dang...when my step-son was about 5 or 6...he opened up a freshly purchased 12 pack of my trojan magnums and was fitting them down on his hands and forearms....He was using them with his hot-wheels, said they was mechanics' gloves, lol!
Later on, my girlfriend bought a toy for her to use with her future girl fling....a double ended stap-on, left the box out, and my son- who was only 14 months old at the time, grabbed the box up and was using it to tote his toys around the house.
It wasn't until he left it on the back porch with his toys in it that we found it...after we put him to bed that night.

when I first moved in with my husband and his roommate he took it out with out me knowing and put it on the bed with the door open. I guess to make our roommate uncomfortable. The only other time I left it out on the night stand when my husband came home not a big deal.

My toys are always put away unless I am actively using them or cleaning them. But they're not locked up - I figure if someone goes snooping into a closed box, they deserve to be traumatized. (Hasn't happened yet!)

My wife sometimes leaves her Hitachi (no additional attachments) plugged in, and laying beside the bed. Her parents come over weekly, and sometimes her mom walks in our room if one of us is in there with the door open.

If I see it out, I put it in the drawer, the cord somewhat inconspicuously going from the drawer to the surge protector next to the drawers...

MIL probably woudn't care, but might feel compelled to discreetly tell my wife about proper sanitation of "items" ... as she is an Infection Control Manager for a hospital system!

Yes quite literally under lock and key. Just because we still have roommates sharing the place.

I'm usually very careful about putting my toys away when I'm done playing and cleaning up, or at least leaving them in a semi-hidden spot to dry. I did once leave a clearly-labeled bottle of toy cleaner in the bathroom, but thankfully my dad hadn't gone in between the times I did.

i try to hide them the best i can, but they often land on my djembe right beside my bed... so i guess anyone could see them. Maybe i should be more careful, after reading all of your stories!

My toys stay in a special purse in my closet at all times. Unless anyone is going through my purses, they should never be seen.

Haha, almost! When a friend was visiting me I had to close my closet door while she was wandering around in front of it.

My friend once realized his little sister's dog was walking around the house with a dildo in its mouth like it was a chew toy.

There was one day where our son was out with my parents. My wife and I fooled around downstairs and used a toy before thy came back. Usually I am very conscious of cleaning up, but for some reason we didn't. There was a magazine over the toy, but the top of the rabbit-style toy was still peeking out. My parents came upstairs with the baby and as we were talking I noticed it. I quickly hid it, and am not sure if they ever saw or not.

Mine have been seen a few times, seeing as there are quite a few on the shelves of my nightstand, and my boyfriend has brought quite a few people into our room to see my fish... So I'm guessing a few people have seen some that way. And of course I ended up showing off the collection to a few friends, too. Including the guy that helped me redo said fish tank. Another friend of mine ended up seeing a product page on Eden on my iPod screen when she went to look something up on it. I ended up showing her the site and my toys and helped her make an account. She has never had any toys before, even though her mom used to sell them. She has a 2 year old daughter and hasn't been in a relationship since she got pregnant so I was happy to answer her questions and recommend a few things. Gave us a nice break from studying, too. The only time I've been mad that my toys were discovered was when a supposed friend decided to rifle through my bedroom drawer in search for my pills and stole some when he was left alone in our apartment for a few minutes, so he saw just about everything, the little asshole.

Not that I left them out, but my mother can be quite nosy...fortunately she didn't know what she was looking at, unfortunately she pulled it out in front of my dad and sister. yikes!

Technically my mom HAS seen them but I'm not sure if she had any idea what they were. She's a pretty traditional immigrant. It was a vibrating wireless egg so it wasn't obvious as to what it was. She never questioned it either >__>

It'd be nice to share toy experiences with friends but some are less understanding. But hey, that's what EF is for right

Sitting on my bed one Saturday afternoon, chatting with my roommate who was standing at the bedroom door.l My husband had left the Flip Hole I got for him, sitting nicely in its package with the lubes all lined up, on his bedside table. My roommate suddenly said "What is THAT?", and I just glanced at it and said "Lube.", since, well, part of it was. And he was all stammery for a moment, but it turned into a valuable conversation about lubes and condoms, and me donating a bottle of lube to him and his girlfriend, who's kind of like a little sister to me. He was like, "I'm glad we can talk about these things." and I am too, really.
