Hi,

Well I purchased a tantus silk (not from Eden) and after opening I noticed some small water/liquid marks on the shaft... not a lot, but enough to get my attention. The online store told me that it could be during packing or that manufacturers may add something to protect the toy during transit...

anyone else noticed this before?

i really wish these companies would tamper-proof seal all items, like in the sealed plastic that a usb drive comes in where you have to cut through the plastic but you know it defintely hasnt been taken out before! that way you know where ever you get it from that it hasnt been out of its home since manufacture...

Well, silicone can be sterilized, so it's not such a big deal, unless it bothers you a lot. I would, however, return it and get it elsewhere if you are really worried about this.

I do agree because sex toys are not like any other item, they need to be cared for. They will be touching your most sensitive spots! I have to say, I haven't ever gotten a toy from EF that has had any kind of stuff on it or damaged packaging except for my snuggle puss I got last week. It had fuzz and hair all over it! I didn't mind since it can be cleaned good, but other times, I've had my toys in the past opened by the post office, totally taken from their package and thrown in a plastic bag with an apology on it! This happened with 2 different toys! WTF? Did the USPS employees get really, uncontrollably horny and need to take it for a test drive? I think most of us are serious about our toys. I don't like that those idiots done that and what about PRIVACY? Anyways, sorry for the rant.

I got the stupid Hera G vibe before and it had this nasty powdery stuff on it that rolled off and was like dirt or dust. It was brown! I couldn't bring myself to use it until it was squeaky clean. That was just the way those toys are made though for some nasty reason. Lol
