Storing your toys

I keep some of mine in my for your nymphmation chest but, (this might sound lame) I also have a couple of large locking train cases as well as a locking foot locker. :P I do have kids so everything gets locked up! Reply

Since I'm new to the world of toys (and am without a nightstand), I went ahead to my local drug store and bought a Modella make-up/toiletry case. It's a three fold zip-up with a little hanger hooked on to the top flap. So far I've been able to fit a rabbit, a silicone dildo, a butterfly kiss, a few traditional vibes, a golden nugget, the snugglepuss, a strap on vibrator, and vaginal balls. I used to be able to fit in my toy cleaner too but I'm kind of pushing the limits as it is. I also have a compartment for batteries. I find this to be a good solution for those who can't quite spend the money on the lovely For Your Nymphomation products. But I hope to upgrade soon. I think it'd definitely be worth it.

While I could put this in my closet, I like to keep it underneath a pillow in the corner of my bed for easy access. There have been a few incidents where the snugglepuss has gone off while I'm trying to sleep but apart from that, it's quite a convenient spot for storage. Reply

I get asked this question often. I buy bulk packs of wash cloths or dish cloths and washable permanent fabric glue. I then glue the cloths in half with an opening in the top, or glue two cloths together on three sides for larger toys. I find this tends to keep them cleaner and drier than ziploc baggies, and it keeps everything cushioned and apart from other toys. I then store them in large bins (since I don't have kids and don't have to worry about snooping). Now I just need a labeling system so I can tell which toy is in which bag! All the bins are by the side of my bed right now, but I'm going to weed out the rarely used into a separate bin for the closet.

Texture-sensitive toys, btw, like Cyberskin, I store in the satiny drawstring bags you get from places like Sephora, so they don't take on the texture of the washcloths! Reply

I keep mine in individual zip-lock bags with names written on the outside. Then all the bags are in a plastic toolbox that we lock because we have kids. It's a pretty good size container, but I recently cleaned out some of the toy that aren't as good to make sure we have some room to grow. I'm not sure what we are going to go to once that toolbox gets full though. Reply

My collection only includes about 35 toys right now, and currently they are stored in ziploc bags in a cardboard box. I am waiting for my toy chest to come, so I can store some favorites under the bed. What I want to do eventually is buy a locking trunk that would also look nice as well as be functional. My favorites sit on my nightstand currently (sadly it doesn't have drawers), and my children aren't allowed to go into my bedroom. Thankfully they haven't barged in yet. I can't wait to get my For Your Nymphomation toy chest to at least keep most of them locked and under the bed. Reply

Mine are currently stored in my closet in cardboard boxes. I wish I could store them in a better place (such as these large plastic bins I have downstairs), but that’s no good: I don't have kids, but I do have parents, haha (Yes I am still living with them during college in order to cut costs) My best ways of hiding object are usually in obvious places, although still requiring a minor amount of work to get to. On the bottom of the pile I have 2 shoe boxes. The one in the back against the wall has some old ass massager I used to use to fuck around with before I owned any toys. The front box is for rubber or jelly dildos/plugs. The flap is tucked under the box above it so it has to be pulled out in order to open. The big box above it holds all the vibrating objects. Some are in bags (jelly ones) and other just for organization (removable bullets and controllers) The vibes on the top of the stack are the ones I use the most: SlimlineG, TurboGlider Blue, etc. On top of this vibe box is another show box which I put my Quality toys in. Tantus Daddy Dildo, Tantus Ryder Plug, Elbow glass dildo, E-glass plug, Aneros Progasm, another glass dildo, and masturbation sleeves (mostly all in bags to reduce mixing of materials)
On top of this box is a game box just as a buffer to prevent quick opening.

To the right of this box is 2 big boxes stacked vertically, which high behind my graduation robe. The bottom is empty and is use just to raise the following box up behind my clothes. In side this top box is my overflow toys that are not used too much: useless free masturbation sleve from A&E, speculums, broken toys, etc.

On top of this box has my 2 enjoy toys: Pure Wand, Pure Plug 2.0 and behind these 2 cases are 2 USPS boxes. 1 Holds lubes (ID Glide mainly) and the other holds DonWand toys that use padded cases (4 in total --> 1 plug and 3 dildos)

Above these in the air on a shelf in the closet I have another box holding various items: Metal speculum, Clear plastic speculum, anal speculum (hell they all have been used anally, it just this one is specifically for sphincter opening), lube shooters, and a penis pump.

To the left all of this, is my fireproof safe which I keep condoms, and 2 folders: 1 for orders from various sites, and the other for toy instructions/box cutouts..
In the event of a tornado I will probably throw in my 2 Tantus toys, a glass dildo, a masturbator, and waterproof vibe. haha

In fact a few months back I was worried about a tornado possibility that came close to hitting near us. I panicked and taped up all the boxes. If that did happen I would rather them get lost and thrown somewhere to hell than have my parents find them..
I hope they never stumble upon a toy I own because I am not sure how they would handle it. I have alter-egos and I doubt they would ever think I have a wild side. I’ve never even said “damn” in front of them…. Soo like I said they would probably think it was some joke or something. They would probably think I was gay or something, since I always act like I am anti-anything that is out of the ordinary when I am around them. (I guess it is just a defensive mechanism to not have them question me about odd things)

Here I just took some pictures to help illustrate this: Notice the tape on some boxes (when possible tornado), me giving the finger to toys I hate, my 2 new waterproof toys at the end (I am very excited to try them in the pool when the parents go out this Sat =] ) and many other misc actions. (Sorry for the burry-ness I might be smart with computers but I cant take images with an old camera worth a damn, haha.

I don't have children and I'm pretty much out to all my friends which makes storing my toys pretty easy.

I have a spot between my bed and my dresser which is my main storage area. I keep my paddles, whips, floggers, gags and anal hook on hooks in the wall. I have a tiny stool, which on top of it sits my chest where I keep all my safe-sex supplies and some other misc. items. My favourite leather cuffs are on top. I also have a wire basket on it, which I keep my anal toys, vibrators and dildo. Under the stool I keep my rope, extra lube, various vibrators that I don't use often, nipple clamps and other stuff that I have.

Anything that I hardly use gets stored in my closet in an easy to reach plastic container.

It works for me but I know that not everyone can have most things on display. Reply

I went out and bought a tool box from our local box store -- $16. It's lockable and helps me keep my things moderately sorted. It's a little amusing to see a big black and yellow toolbox seated so obviously close to the bed, brightly labled "Tools". Before that, I kept them in a gigantic danish cookie tin, salvaged from the holiday season.

I want to buy a small For your Nymphomation for travel, though. Something I can toss a few 'vitals' in and lock it, for privacy... Reply

It's awesome. *laugh* Mine's a cheapie, but it's large enough to store all my dildos and my hitachi with room to spare. The top has two little areas meant for nails -- which I keep lubes, condoms, and my smaller clit vibes in. The inner part has a tray that rests above a larger storage area. On the tray I keep toy cleaners and slimmer vibes/dildos and the inside, I keep my Hitachi and my dildos and their various tubes.

It's really not so big overall, but it's highly noticeable. I get a kick out of the big bright TOOLS label, too. XD Reply

The current dorm room I'm in comes with a small file cabinet that fits under the desk, so I've been keeping all of my toys in the bigger drawer. If the dorm room I move into when school starts back up has the same thing, I'll use that; otherwise, I can store them in a desk drawer. I'd really like to get a real container one of these days... My original storage was a black satin toiletry bag with white flowers brocade on it. It was about 12 inches long and 6 high and I wrapped everything I put in it in cloth napkins, bandanas, or scarves (after I melted my first silicone toy by storing it against a silicone composite toy). After I over flowed that I went to an antique store and found a small wood chest that fits on the book shelf beside my bed. I still use the original bag for body paints and rope and what not. Then I have a few smaller pouches for condoms and stray batteries, lube bottles sit out on the shelf beside the box as I live alone and don't have visitors often.
I often find myself chuckling at what strangers would think of my house, walking in to find dildos drying in the shower rack and lube and vibes laying on the bedside table. Reply

Right now I keep mine in a shoebox (lol) lined with some soft fabric (I'm weird about my glass toys). ...Yeah, kinda boring. XD I don't have that many yet, but when I get more, I do like the "for your nymphomation" cases - they seem really discreet and convenient. Reply
