So... I own a Tantus Cowboy. It's 16" long and 2.75" in diameter at the largest bulge. Right now, anally, I can take about 1.75", and vaginally, about 2".

I bought the Cowboy when it was on a huge sale, and ... even though I can't use it... I totally don't regret owning it, even a little bit. Even though it's probably going to take a few years of practice, the thought of it turns me on anyway.

Am I alone in this? Have you ever been drawn in by a toy that's beyond your capability? Tell us about it!

I have a couple of toys I can't use, but I didn't know I wouldn't be able to use them when I bought them. At least they helped me discover what my body can and can't handle. I'm still drawn to some toys that I know won't work for me, but I've managed to resist the temptation to buy any so far.

I do have one toy that I've held on to (for whatever reason) over the years, that is way too big for me to use. I was new to toys at the time, and didn't stop to think about what I was doing before I bought it!

I see where you are coming from, especially if it was on sale!! I personally don't own anything that I can't use though... that doesn't mean though that if I see something in the future on sale for a really good price, I won't buy it lol

I buy all the toys so I don't take into account whether she can use them solo or not. The only one I'm sure she cannot use on her own is the Eleven - it's just too heavy.

We have some lint magnet toys that are lying around. Girlfriend gets turned off as soon as she sees the lint, we end up never using them.

I sent my husband to the sex shop near our house one night to pick me up something new. He came back with a 2.5 inch diameter dildo. Eep! It's huge! I laughed at him when I saw it. I still have it just because I think it's hilarious he thought I could fit that inside of me. I can get all of half an inch or so in before it hurts so bad I can't take it. It has a suction cup so sometimes I suction it above his head when he's not paying attention as a joke. That's the only real use it gets. *shakes head*

I have toys that are too small to be fun or aren't nearly powerful enough. I have never gotten a toy that I can't use because it's too big, however. (Did I just make myself sound like some kind of a Size Queen? Probably. )

I am like a lot above in that I have one that is too big! I've tried to use it but I just can't seem to make it work because it is just way too big. I've also got one that is so small that it's basically useless.

I bought a butt plug from Doc Johnson, "Original" it is HUGE! I tried it once and thought I was gonna die! Of course I got it all the way in, then had a hard time removing it :/ I still want a plug, but I need something MUCH smaller!

I have toys that I don't use because I don't like them and I have toys that I can't physically use anymore because I was involved in a car accident. Injured hip and knees leave a lot of toys and positions out in the cold. Can't say I've ever ordered any that were too big though.

Yup... I know exactly how you feel. My toy that I got that I can't use is the Pikilo
I just HAD to get it, it had been calling to me for so long.. And I actually thought it would be an easy challenge up until I took it out of the box.

Even if I have yet to fully use it (I plan on being able to eventually) I LOVE that I own it. It's been out of stock on here forever now and I'm not sure if Eden isn't going to carry them anymore, so I'm glad I got one before they were all gone.

I've bought plugs that turned out to be too big for me! I wound up getting rid of the cheaper ones last time I moved, but I still have one very nice glass piece that I'm determined to work up to!

Can't use, well, not exactly. I own plenty of toys that I couldn't use on myself... but that's because they are for use on others. You never know, that cowboy might come in handy someday
