Anytime I see a review on an item that catches my eye, I read the top review. Another TMI thing... I love reading the guys reviews on this site! They are so hilarious sometimes! We have some talented male writers in here that do jam-up reviews.

I also try to find the weirdest looking toys in here (the ones even I can't figure out what they could possibly do) and read those reviews as well.

Another fun one is reading reviews about the items you own yourself. If someone shares painfully similar experiences or opinions on those items, I tend to subscribe to their updates.

AND lastly, every now and then you'll run across writers that occasionally put ALL of their juicy details in their latest reviews... By the time I'm done reading, I'm headed for MY toy box! haha X

I like reading reviews for the obvious, vibrators, dildos, clit toys, lubes sometimes. It's interesting to see how preference can vary on all these things. Thee are some lubes that I and my partner LOVE, that some people find intolerable for sex and toy usage.
I like reading toy reviews most obviously because, if something tends to work for a lot of different reviewers with obviously different tastes, then it will probably work for me as well, someone with pretty vanilla tastes and needs. All the same if something doesn't work for many people, or doesn't work for a reviewer I find that I share tastes with, I know I probably shouldn't purchase that item. I have bought a lot of items on recommendation via reviews- the extreme g spot bullet was the most notable one- I think it's fun experimenting to find the same successful way to use a toy as the reviewer before you raved about. It does take a bit of time on occasion, but its very fun getting there. (I actually found mine to be very quiet though, compared to other powerhouse bullets).

I also think its neat to see how particular reviewers rate sound and such. I rarely use the highest setting for either vroom or bees because I know there are some toys reputed to be like jackhammers (hitachi anyone) that I have not yet owned- many reviewers use the hitachi as the standard for a 5 bee rating, so I feel it would be odd to class something in the same category as that if I do not truly know how loud it is. As well, everyone has different experiences- often a toy is much quieter in use than it is just prattling about on your table/bed/chair/hand etc due to your body muffling it, so its interesting to see if other people notice that or not.

I suppose in general, I just like reading reviews! I especially like certain reviewers' reviews- Epiphora, for example, seems to for the most part share some preferences with me, so its cool to see what gets high ratings from her- I usually know that's something I'll also like.
So yeah, I find the reviews to be awesome! I suppose I am the odd girl out for not liking the included erotica in some reviews though.

I forgot to mark other, but I also like to read reviews for BDSM items (besides bondage items specifically). The reviews here for BDSM are a little scarce, but the ones that are up are usually pretty helpful.

I guess I don't have a preference but try to read as many as I have time for so I miss reviews for days and then they are gone.
I enjoy reviews for toys that I have...if the reviewers take is similar to mine and perhaps different ways to use the toy.
I guess I pass on most lube, clothing and porn reviews(I have to see it myself)

I would say that I prefer to read reviews about either items that I would actually use or realy unique items. So vibrators, rabbits or clit toys are generally more interesting than dildos. I also like to read about some massage items, unique lubes, BDSM things et cetera. I'm not so much into the pocket pussies or prostate toys and I only read lingerie reviews if I find the product to be attractive. I read DVD reviews if the DVD or review seem especially interesting. Since I check the feed, I'll go over the summary first and I sometimes might read a review because it seems like the reviewer had an interesting experience.

I love sex furniture reviews- there's nothing like hearing about how someone was fucked in 12 different positions or if that $200 piece of foam is really worth the money.

I also love odd reviews- love dolls, extreme BDSM items- mostly, "nontraditional" things... I do love reading about a good clitoral vibrator though since I'm on the quest for the perfect one.

Reviews are the reason that after buying more than twenty toys in six months or so, I only ended up with one bad purchase. Not only do reviews steer the buyer toward the cream of the crop, but they also encourage repeated experimentation to make the most out of each toy, because everything has strengths and weaknesses.

I'm most fascinated with the reviews for high tech toys that do something other than vibrate, probably because I'm most fascinated by the toys that do something more than vibrate. Like the Sasi, or the Passion Wave, for example. Not that I have anything against vibration, of course.

I really agree here. I love to read reviews for items I will use, so for me condoms are a big old no as well as porn (I know, I know, but I don't watch it).

I don't really read reviews for lube because I have to feel it before I try it and different people's bodies react differently to lubricants.

I chose other because I like reading all reviews. No matter what the product I feel like I can take something away from the review, whether it pertains to me or not. I love expanding my knowledge.

I picked everything except for porn and books! I like reading reviews for things that I have or that are on my wishlist, sometimes learn of a similar item that other reviewers might mention that I can add to my list.

I like the lingerie ones especially because I have a hard to fit body shape and reviews for gag gifts are fun to read

I've really been enjoying reading reviews for toys for gender play (and that includes a LOT of toys, mostly, I look for reviews from people who are likely to use the toys how I might use them)

it always gives me a squee of delight when I read about someone else using a dildo for something like packing, blow jobs, etc. with a clear intent to gender-fuck makes me very happy

I enjoy reading reviews for a lot of different toys. I'll usually have a mood for something different every day. (I log on every day to get at least 200-300 points as a goal!) I like reviews for dildos, vibrators, female toys, lingerie, clit stimulators, rabbits, movies and erotica, books, and toys designed for couples.
