I bought my first toy at a store called "Forbidden Fruit." I was naive and suggestible, so the seller convinced me to buy a weakly-vibrating and horribly disappointing jelly toy. Oh my... it was from the Spencer's at the Mall and it was light blue and hard plastic. It took D batteries and was so noisy! Now that I look back, it was really quite terrible, but it felt so sexy and naughty to buy one at age 15 or 16, and definitely introduced me to a lifetime of toy use!
