the entire top half of my armoir is not devoted to toys. having privacy as an adult not living at home is awesome. good luck to all you with nosey parents and who are not yet financially independent.

I don't hide mine unless someone is coming over. If I were you I would put them in your closet hidden in a box or something. Hopefully your parents aren't going through your stuff so it shouldn't be a problem.

I have my own place so I don't need to hide my toys anymore, but from past experience, finding a good hiding spot depends a lot on the nature of the people you're living with (in this case, your parents). Are they likely to go snooping around your room? If so, then things get a bit complicated. But if they're the type that generally respect your privacy, then "out of sight" is just about all you need.
In the past, my situation was sort of in between, so I kept my toys in a piece of luggage I could store in my closet or under my bed with the toys covered by clothes, linens, and other items that are both good at concealing the toys hidden underneath and not suspicious (in other words, they were the sort of things I'd travel with normally so it wasn't suspicious that they were on top when you opened up the piece of luggage). Anyway, I hope that gives you some ideas!

Usually in a drawer or anywhere my parents won't look--last year, I hid them in a desk lamp box that sat next to my bed and no one was ever the wiser!

Just in a box under the bed these days, unless we have company. Then they go in the back of the closet.

I don't REALLY need to hide mine. I'm in college with a roommate. So, as long as the toys aren't just laying out, my roommate won't actually open the drawer of my desk where I keep them. Or the makeup bag I sometimes keep them in if I leave it out.

I don't have to hide them, but I do store most of them in a large Rubbermaid bin.

Cheap boxes from the a craft store. One of these days I'd like to get a system that has drawers. If I don't store them then they usually get misplaced or lost.
