I'd never discuss it with my closed minded conservative parents (whom i love dearly). i'd be way to embarrassed.

but in the future if i had an adult child (or children at all) i'd be embarrassed, but i'd still talk about it with them if they so desired.
I'd rather my offspring want to come to me, and trust that they can.
It's pretty awful not being able to go to your parents about certain things because you know they'd judge you or tear your head off.

I wouldn't feel embarrassed.

I think it's great that she feels that comfortable with you. In my opinion it shows that you have built a wonderful connection with her.

I'm way to uptight and shy to have that conversation in the real world with anyone, let alone a parent. But good for those who can!

some things just shouldn't be discussed between children and parents, especially old school parents like mine

I've talked with my mom about this stuff before, no big deal. My children are too little to talk with them about anything like this, but when they're older I wouldn't have a problem with it either.

Yeah, the topic of sex toys with my parents definitely sounds awkward and not something I would want to discuss with them...

I'm not close to my mother, so I wouldn't talk to her about this stuff anyway, regardless of being embarassed or not.

Oh no. The first time I was on here I went and told my mom all about it. She laughed at me. Also my boyfriends mmom shops on here and we talk about anything and everything under the sun. I feel its something that everyone does. There is nothing to hide. Also when you talk to people and they talk back you can get some new ideas.

Other because I just don't talk about those things, only with my girlfriend.

Since you both use toys and know about each other having an account that's fine. If my mom were open about it and liked the kinds of things I liked, I would be happy to talk about it. For me though, my mom tries to keep her things a secret, and I was a big grossed out when I found her drawer. She doesn't have much, or anything too fancy, so I know shes not really into toys at all.

She has no idea I use this site and that I use toys. She knows I'm sexually active though and since we don't get along about certain other things, I really don't feel comfortable mentioning it to her or suggesting things for her.

Umm...hmm! I haven't broached the subject with my parents, but I imagine if I did, we would all be fairly open minded.

My parents are very conservative, so no. I'm glad I don't live with them so they don't ask about my packages.

Ew. The day I discuss my toys with my parents is the day I never, ever have or think about sex again, thanks.

Me and my sister talk about this site all the time, and I talk with my friends too, but I wouldn't really want to talk to my mom about it. Be it, I have joked with her about it before, but that's about it.

Hell yes. I have no kids yet - I think if they would be grown and all it would be moreok, but my parents are bordering prude. So nooo way.

I could never do that with my parents, I just think it would be weird. Sex life stays with me and my fiance, not the parents.

I would be horrified to bring up something myself, but not so much if a future child did so to me.
