Agate is a microcrystalline variety of quartz, characterized by its fineness of grain and brightness of color.
Properties
Agate is hard and mildly porous. Because of the beautiful color and shine it is often used in jewelry. The toys made of agate retain temperature well and don't contain any artificial chemicals like phthalates or latex. Because Agate is only mildly porous lubricants last longer on it.
Hygiene And Maintenance
After each use, clean your toy, hand-washing it with warm water and an anti-bacterial soap. If you wish to sterilize the toy we recommend using a 10% bleach and 90% water solution, then rinse in warm water. Promptly dry it off with the satin cloth or a fine cotton cloth. Just like fine jewelry, we do not recommend putting it in the dishwasher.
