The texture of Sex in the Shower Lubricant is perfect. It's very slick and definitely has a silicone-slippery 'feel' to it, but is not overly thick. The viscosity is very similar to most water-based lubes. It has NO sticky feeling, and although it mostly absorbs into skin eventually, it is easy to clean up what's left on your skin (or toys) with a little soap and water.
We felt that this silicone lubricant added "slickness" as opposed to "wetness" like water-based lubes bring to the game. The silicone slide in combination with the wetness from my natural lubrication provided the perfect combination for sex of all sorts.
Sex in the Shower Lube has absolutely no taste and no smell.
Unfortunately, silicone lubricants are not compatible with silicone toys (if you use them together, use a condom).
Silicone lubricants have an incomparable silky-slick feel. This one is no exception. This lube is very slick, long-lasting, and not sticky. It works for any sex, including vaginal, anal, handjobs, and masturbation, but where it really stands out is for water-based sex! It stays put, stays slippery, and doesn't disappear underwater.
Sex in the Shower silicone lubricant is packaged in a cosmetic-pump style 3.3 oz opaque plastic bottle. There is a small locking cap that fits over the pump top, but it is hard to maneuver and easily lost. The bottle is packaged in an open-sided cardboard box with a great view of the bottle inside. The bottle and the box are a water-themed blue and white. It is tasteful, but does declare "SEX IN THE SHOWER SILICONE LUBRICANT" so it's not very discreet.
The real innovation in packaging, though, is the label. The entire bottle is 'wrapped' in a plastic label, which is very graphic and descriptive of the contents, but this label is different from most others. The entire label 'unzips' down one side, leaving only the frosty plastic bottle with no markings. This bottle is safe to leave anywhere -- it looks like an expensive lotion.
The bottle is small and easy to handle, with a one-finger-pump type dispenser. The pump is dispenser is generally easy and convenient, but can become difficult to use with slippery hands and/or in the dark.
This lubricant contains Vitamin E and Aloe in addition to cyclopentasilozane, dimethicone, and dimethiconal.
We would like to know if an automatic wall dispenser (like for hand soap) is available for this! Yum!! I've always liked to think that I don't "need" lubrication for sex other than anal, but I'm learning that sometimes it just feels really, really good. I've been eager to try a silicone lubricant, and I wasn't disappointed. I can't compare this to other silicone lubes, since this is my first (other than a small sample), but compared to water-based lubricants, this is MUCH NICER overall. It's longer-lasting, much slicker, and most importantly to me, not sticky.
I used this for a little anal sex out of the pool, and it was A GREAT PERFORMER. We also used it in the pool with great success. We stroked it in and around our sexy parts before hopping in the pool, and it stayed put. We were able to have lots of intercourse with no loss of slipperiness. Anyone who's ever had sex under water knows that water is not the best lubricant. This lube solves that problem.
