This is one thin and runny lubricant. It does not stay in place at all, and if you dispense too much at one time, you're going to have lube all over the place. If you put a drop into the palm of your hand and then turn your hand on its side, you can watch it drip down. When using, I recommend aiming the spout at the palm of your hand rather than a finger. It slips between fingers quickly and with ease. There is nothing thick or gritty about this clear lubricant.
While still inside the bottle, this lubricant is hard to smell. After pumping a little out and putting your nose close to it, the scent becomes quite clear. The smell is really sweet and reminds me of apple juice.
The taste is unforgettably natural. It tastes very sweet, and genuinely reminds me of apples or apple juice. What is really cool to me is that after swallowing, the taste is gone. There is no aftertaste at all. It also really impresses me that it doesn't leave any kind of a film behind in your mouth. After swallowing, it is truly gone.
As a lubricant, I am very impressed with its performance. It is fairly long lasting, surviving for at least 30 minutes of thrusting. As a flavored lube, I am beyond impressed. The taste is remarkably good, and it leaves nothing behind after it has been licked off. No aftertaste and no icky film. I also couldn't be more pleased with this lubricant's ability to be removed from skin with just water. Warm water rinses it right off and leaves no trace of it behind.
While this product does have many perks, it does have one shortcoming for some. This product does contain glycerin, so those with skin allergies or sensitivities need to beware.
My bottle of Aqua Candy Apple came sealed tight in plastic cellophane. This cellophane would prevent the lid from unscrewing or being shook around and the pump popping up, thus preventing any potential spills on to any other items you ordered alongside it.
The bottle itself is black with silver and metallic green writing on the front. The front is clearly labeled as being a "flavored, water based, intimate lubricant" and containing 4.0 fluid ounces. The rear of the bottle has white writing and gives you quite a bit of information. It has a statement from the company about the product, perks of the product, and an ingredients list. The bottom of this back panel also lets you know that the bottle is recyclable and was made for Wicked in the USA. The only thing discreet about this bottle is that it doesn't have naked people on it. Anyone who can read would know what it is used for.
The top of this black bottle is a pump spout, rather than a pour top. This ensures you only get as much as you need, and don't make a mess trying to get only that amount out. When you first take the bottle out of the cellophane, you will need to turn the pump spout slightly to the right to open it. When you plan on putting it away, turn hard to the left and this locks the spout.
I couldn't be more pleased with a lubricant, especially a flavored one. Generally, I feel pretty ripped off when I get a flavored lube. It generally doesn't taste anything like what it is supposed to, and tends to leave a icky film in my mouth. Wicked's Aqua Candy Apple has made me a believer. I'm also pretty thrilled about the longevity of the lube when used as a normal lubricant. 30-45 minutes of play time before even thinking of reapplying is pretty impressive in my book.
