Cherry 2 by Digital Playground - review by Lucidity

"Cherry 2" is an all lesbian feature by Digital Playground. From the package this looked like a film aimed towards females and lesbians, but after watching it, I think maybe not.

So, I never saw the first "Cherry", but from what I gather, Cherry is the name of the woman who runs this exclusive, member's only, lesbian strip club. The members pay an arm and a leg and are free (and encouraged) to have sex with the bartenders and strippers who work there. Cherry seems to have some issues, but the actual plot is a little difficult to follow.

I had some issues with the dialogue, and I'll admit, this might be my own bias because it just wasn't what I expected. But with lines like, "She'd better be the hottest pussy in here; I'm in that kinda mood." and "I wanna break my record tonight." It really sounded like what men wished lesbians would speak like more than anything else.

There was also only one even moderately butch girl, which made me sad. I wanted more, she was super cute. My only other real complaint was the couple of scenes where girls didn't take off their cocktail rings before fingering each other. Aside from that, the girls were all well groomed with trimmed nails (except for a few with acrylics) and various styles of pubic hair to please all tastes.

I feel like the plot could have used more work, or been left out all together. There's parts that are just confusing and don't seem to go anywhere. Maybe if I'd seen the first Cherry it would make more sense.

Overall, it's no indie lesbian porn, but it's pretty damn good for a mainstream company making a movie to reach its audience, and good on DP for that.

I couldn't check out the Blu-Ray, because my PS3 is in the living room and my roommate hasn't left for weeks, but the extras on the DVD include: Behind the Scenes, Gallery, Slide Show and Trailers.
