Official Basic Instinct Parody by Zero Tolerance - review by Lucidity

So, I've never seen the original Basic Instinct, but the parody of the same name was entirely watchable, really, I watched the whole thing. The production value was high, it had a plot, it was shot very well with good sets, cinematography, costumes and interesting lighting and the acting was actually pretty good (especially for porn). I can't say much about how true it was to the original, but from what I've read, it did a fairly good job.

I don't want to go through scene by scene, because I feel like that's a bit of a spoiler, but there's one girl on girl scene, one anal scene and other than that it's pretty much straight PIV, and oral. The sex is all extremely vanilla for the most part, there's a few hands on throats and dirty talk, but nothing terribly exciting. I will say this, there is female oral abound in this film and that is a huge wet plus in my book. The cast of ladies are quite sexy and the men are well hung.

As someone who's never seen the original movie, I can say that the parody left many plot holes and continuity errors... but that's not why we watch porn, right? And even with the plot-holes it still had a good story that was interesting to watch. Aside from not being particularly exciting or new, the sex scenes were hot and I don't really have many complaints aside from the spitting and "money shots", but that's a personal taste thing and something I'm for sure used to in porn by now.


The DVD extras include scene selection, a photo gallery, pop shots and trailers, nothing too exciting but not nothing. I could do with a little less packaging, but you can recycle the outer cardboard slip that the DVD come nestled in.
