Blacklight Beauty by Pulse Pictures - review by Foxxy Kitty

I've been interested in Blacklight Beauty for quite some time because it includes some of my horniest turn-ons: natural tattooed girls with heavy eye makeup, anal, pussy, wrestling, gangbangs, and circus-clown play (mmm!). Being that it is considered “alternative porn” which I have never seen before, I didn’t know exactly what to expect, but naturally, I was quite excited! From what I saw on the front and back cover, and what I heard in the first opening credits and the music playing in the background, I knew that Blacklight Beauty wasn’t just going to be any run-off-the-mill porno, but a sexually exhilarating experience.

The film begins in a seedy bar with a bird’s eye view of Allie Sin giving head to an anonymous man, kneeling on the ground. Unlike typical porn Allie, as of with all the porn stars in Blacklight Beauty, gives oral the natural way: daintily, teasingly, minus the choke fest.

There is absolutely no dialogue, not even a tiny glimmer of a pant or a moan at times, just music, which I would describe as techno. The lighting is rather dim, giving that sleezy look to a setting that obviously calls for it. One could say that Blacklight Beauty is more like a pornographic music video than an actual porno. This could be interesting and exhilarating at some points; but quite dull, boring, even robotic and mechanical since it almost literally looks like the actors are fucking to the rhythm of the music (either that or the direct, Jack the Zipper, edited it that way).

The next scene then drives us into a girl-on-girl scene on a couch. Instantly, the edgy music seduces you into scene with these two girls getting it on with pussy fucking. Although visually stunning, this scene as well was sort of overshadowed by the music making the scene rather dull and stilted in comparison. The sex was hot, of course, but again, the visuals are the most important thing here, with no dialogue from the girls, just them batting their dark and heavy eyelashes at the camera.

Next we are then taken to the longest and I suppose most “hardcore” scene of all, with Faith getting gangbanged. The scene is much darker, the only lighting is that of a flashlight, the music is not as embodied in the scene as the rest of them, and there is actually some dialogue and sound going on.

As you would expect from a gang bang scene, there is a lot of deep throating, gagging, spitting, and face smacking. The guys in the scene were surprisingly good-looking and Faith herself seemed rather into them, sucking each guy one by one until they had all cum in her mouth. Again visually it was exciting, but just like the other scenes it quickly gets long, boring, and redundant.

This scene in particular dragged on; I began to think, “when the hell is this going to be over”. At this point, I wouldn’t say that most of you would be cumming in your jeans, which may be a problem to some folks who actually want to have an orgasm from watching a porno. Yet you can’t help but watch because the visuals are truly dark and stunning, and the cutting-edge experimental music alone is definitely something to immediately fall in love with.

The visuals and the music are what truly make Blacklight Beauty what it is, but the sex itself may leave some a little bored and restless. The first couple of scenes are OK, but with barely any dialogue and with little to no real facial expressions, emotion, and personality coming from the actresses, it doesn’t really leave a whole lot to be desired at times. Other than how visually gorgeous and natural they are with their makeup, tattoos, striped stockings, and awesome boots.

But then, the rest of the scenes change up the pace. Things get really hot, and I mean REALLY hot; ranging from quirky to really hardcore, dark, intense, and interesting. Some scenes you wouldn’t have really expected, such as an elevator fuck-fest and a bar sexcapade (cum shots anyone?). And since at this point you can actually hear the lovely gasps and moans of these girls getting manhandled and pounded, it gets even hotter. The one scene that really turned me on was the clown scene, where a clown performer fucks girls at a strip club. Hot and fun, at least for me!

Blacklight Beauty is overall a visual treat, one that can truly be appreciated if you are into how a porno “looks”. At times it’s hard to actually get off on this film, but one could easily appreciate it as something far more interesting and unique than most porn films. Without a doubt, you can't help but watch it again and again.

I found that the sex in Blacklight Beauty was more real than any porno I have ever seen, which makes it perfect for couples. The music in itself is also one that just about anybody can enjoy; you can play the DVD in the background during roleplay, or foreplay with your partner.

In a way Blacklight Beauty inspires many ideas that one could maybe reenact in their sex life, since very rarely do you see clowns in pornography. Blacklight Beauty is also a treat to those who are into clown sex like myself. Give it as a gift to friends of yours that are more into the wild side of sex. I'm planning on giving it to a clowny girl friend of mine as a present. This film is truly a treat, visually captivating, even inspiring, but most importantly, sexy, very sexy.

The second disc surprisingly, didn't contain as much content as I thought it would. It has extra scenes that are similar to what we've seen from the movie, but a little different (only slightly), and a ‘Making of Blacklight’ segment, which was kind of fun and interesting (basically it gives us a glimpse into each and every one of the actresses, revealing their ordinary selves as they are when not on camera). Call it a pornographic music video on acid, or a pornographic FILM, or pornographic art; be it as it may, let Blacklight Beauty take you away and turn you on.
