Space Nuts by Wicked Pictures - review by her.royal.redness

This was my first ever experience with a porn flick, so I was both exited and apprehensive at the prospect of watching it. This movie has set the standards pretty high for everything to follow. It had some pretty awesome sex scenes but it wasn’t just something you watching and waited for the next steamy moment. It was genuinely funny. You got to giggle between watching people climax. I mean if you just want sex, fast forward away, otherwise get settled in for a great overall movie.

It’s a two disc DVD set. It’s based loosely on Star Wars, but draws on other sci-fi type movies . The movie itself is about three hours (Which I found to be a tad bit excessive and exhausting). But they need to get a great deal of credit for making an incredibly classy, comedic film with witty dialogue, beautiful costumes and insane makeup (Mike as the Evil Overlord is mind blowing, the man must have sat in makeup for days). It was directed by Jonathan Morgan, and written by both Morgan and Timothy Bennett. The ten sex scenes shown in the film, in my opinion, are a lot more appealing to straight couples. Most of the sex is male/female with one female/male/female threesome. I find it vaguely amusing that every single sex scene begins and ends with a blow job, and the male character ejaculating on his female co-star’s face. (Maybe EVERY scene is a bit of an exaggeration, but that’s how it seems as you sit there watching it). I think if I had a penis I’d appreciate this a great deal more, but as a girl I just don’t get the necessity of it.

I enjoyed the warning BEFORE the film stating that the company promotes monogamous relationships, abstinence, or as an alternative, being selective about your partners and using condoms. Kudos go out to Wicked Pictures for encouraging people to make smarter decisions regarding their sexual health.

The film opens with Princess Hubba Hubba, played by Stormy, giving a soldier an ‘unofficial accommodation’ for all his ‘hard work’. Meanwhile Randy Spears, who plays the robotic butler Jeeves, is in the kitchen making a move on a space age blender, asking it if it’s AC or DC. Not minutes after the Princess is done, she gets a message from the Evil Overlord, played by Mike Horner, requesting her hand in marriage. When she refuses, he attacks her ship and she manages to narrowly escape. The Dark Witch, played by Devinn Lane, interrogates a soldier from the ship. She manages to elicit some moans and groans from him before sending him to his death.

Next we find ourselves aboard The Floating Balls Space Casino, where we meet Buzz Starfokker, played by Evan Stone. Buzz is notified that there is an escape pod on his ship which contains Princess Hubba Hubba and Jeeves. But Buzz has no soft spots for freeloaders and puts them both to work - the Princess as a cabaret waitress and Jeeves as a pleasure droid. Meanwhile the Evil Overlord and Dark Witch come aboard the ship looking for the Princess and give Buzz a hard time. The Princess ends up having to perform a really bad belly dance routine and is discovered then kidnapped by the Overlord. While this is happening, the General on the Overlord's ship has himself some fun with two of his insta-dates.

Buzz and Jeeves find their way aboard the ship and stage a heroic rescue - and wind up getting caught and fed to Monster O for punishment, after the Dark Witch has her way with Buzz.

Eventually, all ends lustily ever after and Buzz and Jeeves return the Princess home where they are officially rewarded with medals. Jeeves gets his very own pleasure droid as a bonus and Buzz, well he finally gets the Princess.

It has a whole disc of bonus features to tantalize it’s audience with once the movie is done. The coolest feature on the DVD is a Picture-in-Picture commentary track with Jonathan Morgan, Randy Spears and Stormy. (This is where a box pops up on your screen during the commentary, so you can actually see the people as they comment on the picture.) It also includes a behind the scenes feature, bloopers, a rehearsal reel, a casting call reel, a “cold readings” reel, bloopers, the Space Nuts trailer, a look at the making of Stormy’s Essential Elements sex toy (with Stormy, of course), slide shows, biographies, and much more.

For a first time experience, I was blown away. It had beautiful people, gorgeous costumes, witty dialogue and great sex. It was funny and sexy without being cheesy or ridiculous. It wasn’t anything like I was expecting it to be. It’s something I’m going to pull out again and again.

Star Wars has been one of my favorite movie series. Space Balls poked fun at it and I love that too. Space Nuts pokes INTO the movie, and just about everything else it can, and it does it with eroticism and humor! Just thinking about Jeeves doing the koi fish puts a huge smile on my face, and then I find myself absent-mindedly doing it! This movie was my first experience with porn and I don't think I will ever find something as sexy and funny and all around entertaining as this film!
