Debbie Does Dallas 30th Anniversary Edition by Vcx - review by Bon Bon

Debbie Does Dallas was released in 1978, which means it's different from your modern porn. For one thing, there's a whole lot of plot, and the sex scenes come complete with bush (which I love) and crazy 70's porn music (which I didn't love). This DVD is a two-disc re-release of the classic, and it comes with the hard core version, the soft core version, and a few pretty unimpressive special features: interviews with one actor and one actress. The DVD also comes with the Debbie Does Dallas vintage trailer, as well as four other vintage trailers; the trailers were my favorite special feature by far.

The plot of Debbie Does Dallas is simple; Debbie (Bambi Woods) wants to get down to Dallas to be a "cowgirl" cheerleader for a famous football team. Her friends decide that they too are going to try and raise money so they can come with her. They all take odd jobs for older men, and soon the girls realize that they can make a lot more money performing sexual favors for the men. They all claim to be virgins, so they say they will find a way to keep their virginity intact throughout the whole ordeal, only doling out blow jobs and hand jobs, but about half the girls give up on that idea almost immediately.

Warning: the following synopsis contains spoilers.

1.The first sex scene takes place in the shower, ten minutes in. Pat (Kasey Rodgers) and Roberta (Misty Winter) are showering when their boyfriends show up with two other guys and hop in. And the music begins, this crazy tune that shows up randomly throughout the movie and begins as cheesy 70's porn music then shifts to ominous sounding music. Kind of off-putting. Luckily it didn't show up in every sex scene.

Roberta is in this scene briefly, then the focus shifts to Pat's only scene in the movie, in which she and two of guys get it on. Kasey Rodgers is one of my favorite girls in the movie; she has gorgeous red hair and seems enthusiastic and experienced. She's the only girl in the movie with a trimmed bush. Her sex scene is also the one of two that ends with a facial, which took me by surprise, since nowadays facials are so common in porn.

2. The next sex scene takes place in a candle shop, where Roberta works for Mr. and Mrs. Hardwick (ha ha). Roberta receives a phone call from her boyfriend while back in the stock room and starts masturbating with one of the candles. Mrs. Hardwick (played by Robyn Byrd) catches her, then leads her to a couch where she begins to touch Roberta. Mr. Hardwick (Eric Edwards) joins the party, and Mrs. Hardwick watches them have sex while she touches herself. Then Mrs. Hardwick positions Mr. Hardwick's dick over Roberta's heel, and licks him until he comes on Roberta's foot.

This scene is my favorite in the whole movie; it was the only one that really got me excited. I loved Robyn Byrd as Mrs. Hardwick, seducing Roberta. Mr. and Mrs. Hardwick made a great team, and Roberta made a great willing seductee. The candle and the foot finish were nice touches, and the ominous music was nowhere to be found.

3. The third sex scene involves Rikki (Sherri Tart) and Annie (Jenny Cole), two of the cheerleaders. They go to the house of Mr. Bradley (David Suton) to wash his car. He's not there, so they begin washing the car anyway. It starts to rain, but that doesn't stop them, and we get a nice wet t-shirt car wash scene going on. Unfortunately, Mr. Bradley then comes home, cutting the car wash short. The girls go inside to "slip into warm clothes" and proposition Mr. Bradley. He pays them first to take off their clothes, then to let him "kiss them all over. And I mean, all over." He then proceeds to fuck Annie while Rikki licks her back.

The two girls are a good team as well. They both seem extremely innocent and willing to do whatever Mr. Bradley wants. Sherri Tart is classically cute, and Jenny Cole is attractive in her own way. I would've liked the two girls to interact with each other a little bit more.

4. The fourth scene takes place in the library. Donna (Merri Townsend), probably the most innocent-seeming girl in the bunch, is working for Mr. Biddle (Jake Teague), an old man who runs the library. Donna's boyfriend Tim (Bill Barry) sneaks in. Donna blows him, with a lot of enthusiasm for a beginner. Mr. Biddle catches them, and Donna begs him not to tell her mom. He then proceeds to spank her, first with her clothes on and then with her clothes off.

The first part of this scene is great; Donna gives the best blow job in the whole movie; when Tim comes on her face she licks every bit of his cum off, then squeezes out all that she possibly can. The scene goes downhill once Mr. Biddle catches her. He's a little too old and pervy for me to get into him spanking her. Mostly he just gave me the creeps.

5. The fifth sex scene involves Lisa (Georgette Sanders). Sanders is adorable. She works at the tennis court, and after her shift, two of the guys meet her in the locker room. She gives one of them a blow job while the other fucks her from behind.

I was disappointed with this scene, as it had a lot of potential. Lisa is such a cute character, and the threesome could've been arousing. Unfortunately, it was really short, and the camera never focused on the guy having sex with her, just the blow job. I hardly even knew that they were both enjoying her until the camera panned back for just a second.

6. Tammy (Arcadia Lake) has gotten a job at the record store, and it's her turn to go above and beyond the call of duty. But she's nervous, so she calls Lisa. Lisa takes charge and begins the blow job, and finally passes the guy's penis to Tammy, who looks at it like she wants nothing to do with it whatsoever. She proceeds to look like this throughout the scene.

This scene is kind of good; the record store is a good setting, and the guy is probably the least unattractive in the whole film. Tammy is way hot, as is Lisa, but what I really love this scene for is Tammy's reaction to the guy's dick. Worth is for the laugh.

7. The last scene is the climax of the film, and Debbie's only sex scene. Throughout the movie she's rejected Mr. Greenfield's (Richard Bally) advances, until he agrees to pay for the whole trip. So she shows up at the sporting goods store dressed in her cheerleading outfit. Mr. Greenfield comes out of the dressing room wearing a football uniform, with his erect dick hanging out of the zipper.

This scene, for the climax, was wildly disappointing. Debbie is my least favorite of all the girls, and she doesn't act as enthusiastic. I wasn't impressed.

Overall, the DVD is worth it for the few good sex scenes and the novelty factor of seeing this classic porn video. All the girls are cute, and they definitely make up for the guys. What I like most about Debbie Does Dallas versus modern porn is that the girls look real, and different from each other. They have real bushes and they make real-sounding noises, for the most part. I'd recommend this to anyone interested in seeing a classic porn video, as long as you're not looking for something that'll knock your socks off.

Debbie Does Dallas is worth a watch, but it's not one I want to watch over and over again. I like having it in my collection, but it's rare that I choose to watch it over the other porn videos I own, as the sex scenes are better for a laugh than to get off.
