Double Feature by Wicked Pictures - review by AliMc

Double Feature is presented as a homage to 1950s American cinema. The movie opens up with the viewer greeted by an usher and is followed by 3 spoof film previews; Revenge of the Gangbang Zombies, Death Rides a Rubber Horse and Attack of the Twelve-Story Dildos. Each of these fake trailers star fictional actors Suzie Cheesecake and Rip Rockwell as their leading performers, played by real-life porn stars Serenity and Randy Spears, respectively. We are then introduced to the feature presentations.

First up we have Attack of the Bimbos From Outer Space. The plot revolves around 3 women from space – Commander Clitora, Vulva and Labius – who try to invade Earth by brainwashing everyone into becoming their sex slaves. Scientist Judy Luvjoy (Serenity) creates a radioactive serum for her lab assistant, Trent Nerdski (Randy Spears), which turns his semen into a toxic cocktail to destroy the space bimbos.

There are 4 sex scenes in this story, the first of which doesn't take place until about 11 minutes into the movie. Sex scenes are shown in full color whereas the rest of the movie is in black and white. Music plays over the sex scenes but you can still hear the actors moans and groans. Condoms are used during vaginal intercourse and anal sex.

Scene 1: 2 men and 2 bimbos.
Scene 2: 1 man and 1 woman.
Scene 3: 1 man and 1 bimbo.
Scene 4: 1 man and 3 bimbos.

The second feature presentation, Man Made Beast, is a spoof of Frankenstein. Mad scientist Doctor Shelley (most likely a reference to Mary Shelley) has an insatiable sexual appetite and is unsatisfied with her male conquests, so she creates a man creature to fulfill her sexual needs but he escapes from the lab.

Man Made Beast also features 4 sex scenes.

Scene 1: 1 man and 1 woman.
Scene 2: 2 women.
Scene 3: 1 man creature and 1 woman.
Scene 4: 1 man creature and 1 woman.

Before the credits there is a bleepers reel which shows some of the mistakes made during filming of Double Feature.

The silly, slapstick style comedy of Double Feature doesn't really appeal to my sense of humor, but this light-hearted approach to porn makes it easier and more accessible for couples to watch together than traditional porn, in my opinion.

There are a few sexual moments throughout this movie that I feel are worth mentioning. For instance, there is some scissoring during a girl-on-girl sex scene, a lesbian 69 during a group sex scene and a sex position where the female has one of her legs straight up in the air in a standing split, which isn't something I have ever seen before.

One of the special features on this DVD is an audio commentary provided by Director Jonathan Morgan and leading actress Serenity. I found this very interesting and quite funny at times. It's entertaining and definitely worth checking out.

I recognize Randy Spears from the Erotic Playgirl Collection I also reviewed for EdenFantasys. I much prefer his performance in this. His characters have a cheeky and endearing quality about them, and he really embodies the role of The Monster very well, staying in character even throughout his sex scenes.

It was quite fun to watch the first time but it didn't really turn me on and I haven't been interested in watching it again.
