Erotic Touch for Sexual Positions - dvd - review by Sin Secret

I was very interested in the idea behind this video. A movie that incorporates eroticism and education has got to be awesome, right? This is definitely step in the right direction.

Red Hot Touch uses very basic instructions that are a little overly simple and not fully explained, but still interesting and helpful for couples looking to explore.
Here you watch three different couples making love (it really can't be called anything else) while a soft-voiced narrator gives suggestions on things to do with your hands while you're otherwise active.

This is a nice idea for those of us who tend to find their hands just laying at our sides or just draped over each other during sex. You can never learn too many ways to improve your sex life.

It is a nice introduction to things like genital massage, alternative sex positions, erogenous zones, sensual touching, and ejaculation delaying techniques, while the visuals provide good backup for that.
However, for more in depth information about all of the above, couples might have to go elsewhere for the important details. Because of that, I wouldn't exactly call this video educational, but it does present simple little things that can be incorporated into everyday love-making sessions, without making couples think too hard or remember too much.

The couples in this video aren't porn-star sexy, but they aren't gross either. I appreciate their normalcy and had no problem watching them together. My boyfriend even enjoyed it and was definitely turned on.
The settings are well put together; a little overly stage-y, but very pretty, and the music works well with the video.

In general, this video might not be too helpful for the experienced sex-fiend like the reviewers here at EF, but for the every day couple looking for some nice ideas and something sexy for an evening together, this would be a good choice.

The very simple but well shot sex scenes could turn on just about anyone, without being harsh or gratuitous like so much porn, so it's great for women looking for something sexy to watch with their beaus, but don't want cum-shot pornography.

This video can't seem to decide whether it's an instructional video that wants to be a porno, or a porno that wants to be educational. It seems to want to be both when it grows up.

The sex scenes aren't particularly hot or erotic, it's just a few couples having sex in various positions. If that turns you on (it's certainly better for many women than cum-shot pornos) that's great, but I wouldn't particularly call it "erotic".

One thing I feel this DVD could definitely use is a glossary. While most of us here at EF fully understand sexual anatomy, genital stimulation, and why the Cowgirl positions rock, the every day couple looking to learn and explore probably doesn't know quite so much. But while this video brings up a lot of sexual vocab and positions, very little is actually explained. In fact, several times the narrator recommends checking out other DVDs from the same line for more information.

There's so much more they could be teaching couples here, but they just aren't bothering.
