Almost Heaven by New Sensations - review by Mr. & Mrs. Peg

Almost Heaven successfully bridges the gap between romance-centric softcore porn and in-your-face hardcore. If you are looking for couple's porn, both sides will likely find something that appeals to them: lots of focus on female satisfaction and plenty of explicit hot sex. What's even more incredible is that this film is well-made and plot driven.

The basic plot is that a young woman dies unexpectedly. On her way to the afterlife, she finds herself in a place where she must pick one memory to carry with her into eternity. This is, in fact, the only thing she can take with her. As she goes through the decision-making process, the viewer is privy to the memories that other recently deceased people have chosen, or are making new. They must all be EdenFantasys Community members because EVERYONE chooses a sex-themed memory! Even one of the staffers creates a fantasy memory for the viewers' pleasure.

There are four sex scenes in all in Almost Heaven. All of them are heterosexual scenes. There is quite a bit of oral sex as well as vaginal penetration. All the scenes focus on mutual satisfaction of both players with special attention paid to the female orgasm. There is no anal sex in Almost Heaven, or anything else remotely kinky. All the males wear condoms and while cumshots are featured, they are all body shots (no facials or cumming in mouths).

If all this sounds pretty vanilla, it's because it is, right down to the creamy whitewashed scenes. In my opinion that is what makes this film so appealing. Most people would agree, sometimes vanilla ice cream is just what hits the spot. This isn't because it's boring but because it has everything you want without anything else to muddy up the taste. Almost Heaven gives you precisely that: a visually appealing film depicting hot sex between beautiful people that is supported by a decent plot.

It should be noted that there is a fair amount of straight acting in this film. Allie Haze and Xander Corvus both do a very good job handling the dialogue in their respective roles. Their scene is also, in our opinion, the hottest in this film.
