No Lip Service Here!I'm really conflicted on how I feel about this movie. It wasn't fantastic, but it wasn't bad. It has a generally great cast, but the scenes are simply boring and predictable. There was definitely good chemistry, but they didn't do anything to 'wow' or surprise. I felt like I was watching the same scene over and over.
Great cast, hot scenes, decent acting, good chemistry, realistic sex.
Basic, formulaic scenes, kind of boring
Lip service is defined as agreement without supportive action. In Lip Service every word is backed up by hot, hot, HOT action.
Genre and Audience
This is for all those who can enjoy beautiful, gorgeous, sexy women pleasing other beautiful, gorgeous, sexy women. There are no men in this movie!
It's got a little bit of humor to be cohesive, a little bit of dominance play, yet very little variety. It's rather formulaic, but still very hot. This is a movie to watch one or two scenes during masturbation (or as fore-foreplay, not something to watch all the way through. I want to think that the film was directed towards a female audience, or perhaps a couple audience due to the nature of the humor. Lip Service is not your typical lesbian porn. The attraction isn't fake (i.e. the women aren't "gay for pay") and it seems all very realistic and organic. The lines just add to that aspect of realism.
The Story and The Sex
A variety of non-teen women (not exactly MILFs, but not teens either) meet up at a bar with two minutes to find their bedmate for the night. These women are tired of going to "dyke bars" for a hookup, and want something real.
What is real is the chemistry between each and every woman. What isn't real is the basic formula of the sex and the lack of toys! You honestly can't tell me that ten women in their late 20's and 30's who are sexually aware and who don't own any sex toys whatsoever. As for the formula, it goes something like this.
Step 1: Kiss. A lot! The louder, the better.
Step 2: Fondle, rub, grope their partner's boobs.
Step 3: Suck on said breasts lasciviously. Enthusiasm counts!
Step 4: Finger, rub, etc. their partner's labia, clitoris, and vaginal area in general.
Step 5: Apply tongue to areas mentioned above.
Step 6: Alternate orgasms with partner.
Even though there is some different things thrown in occasionally, like foot play or a sixty-nine, it's still almost exactly that formula.
Cast and Pairings
There are five total couples. The pairings are as follows:
First scene - Francesca Le and India Summer. Both exotic brunettes, the sex is nothing special, despite what I've said above about how real it is. They have sex on a bed.
Second scene - Michelle Lay and Rayveness. Another pair of brunettes, Rayveness is curvy and has a bitchin' corset and wonderful natural boobs. This scene has face sitting and some dominance play, but otherwise formulaic. They have sex on a cloth couch. My third favorite pair.
Third scene - Julia Ann and Dyanna Lauren. A set of blondes who love plastic surgery (in which it's very obvious), they have great chemistry together. I was slightly unnerved by their giggling, but I know when I have good sex, I giggle a lot, too. They have sex on a luscious bed. This pair was my favorite, I think.
Fourth scene - Tanya Tate and Carolyn Reese. Another set of blondes. One is foreign and wants a typical California girl. Sex on a leather couch--I noticed that the couch was SUPER noisy in this scene. Annoying.
Fifth and final scene - Zoey Halloway and Raylene. A final set of brunettes, Raylene was the leftovers and Zoey shows up. Both of these women are tres sexy. This ties as my favorite pair. They have sex on another leather couch, this time not so noisily.
Packaging, Menu and Features
The packaging includes a cardstock sheath that is a copy of the DVD box. It's nothing spectacular; it shows Raylene and Julia Ann touching lips, even though they don't have a scene together. The back features screen grabs and snippets of 'enticing' text.
The menu is your average menu. This DVD autoplays after a few seconds, which I find rather annoying. The DVD offers other Zero Tolerance trailers, and a photo gallery.
It was good, it was enjoyable, but it didn't 'wow' me. I'll watch a few scenes of it now and then, but probably not the entire movie.
It runs about 2 and a quarter hours.
