Playgirl: Romantic Desires is an adult movie that lives up to the Playgirl name. Not only does it have the typical things that would turn on any man watching it, but it also has some more sensual material that makes it perfect for any woman to watch.
Most adult movies do not cater to a woman. But in Romantic Desires, foreplay is given equal time to actual sex. This makes the movie much more sensual. And for those that feel dirty after watching an adult movie, the extra effort in this movie makes you feel anything but dirty. I love the fact that there is kissing and caressing, without jumping right into penetration. There are still plenty of boobs and blowjobs for the men to enjoy.
What I liked most about this DVD was the storylines. There are six stories on this DVD (seven if you count the bonus scene) and all of them exceed usual adult movie standards. Most of the stories have no dialogue, which I appreciate. It lets me create my own story in my head. This DVD features everything from hair dresser/client to fire-eating circus star.
What I didn't like was the lighting in many of the scenes. It might have been my television, but some of the scenes with bright lights sometimes looked washed out. Other than that, the quality of the DVD is pretty good.
The bonus features included on the DVD are one extra scene, behinds the scenes featurette, trailers, photos, and other promos for Playgirl TV. There is also a solo scene. When people normally mention solo scenes, it is women in the scene. I was very surprised to learn that this particular solo scene featured a man. It was kind of awkward, but I have never watched many solo scenes with men before. Overall, this DVD will be played again and again in my house.

It is difficult to choose DVD's from most of the reviews. Most movies go from 2 to 5 stars by different reviewers. Maybe it would be helpful if there were guidelines established for rating. What does everyone think about this? Some suggestions would be rating by specific sex acts (oral on the man and or woman, group sex, facial/cum; "loving sex", good close ups, no close ups....blah, blah, blah....). Any opinions?

Good idea so that the ratings were more standardized, making them more reliable and meaningful.

I honestly feel like that would complicate it a lot more. If I was reviewing a DVD and had to rate each and every part of it, as opposed to rating it as a whole, I'd probably be turned off from reviewing videos anymore.
