If "The Labyrinth" was a porn, this would be it! It has demons, fairies, trolls, elves, knights, princesses and everything a fantasy geek could want from a porn, besides David Bowie. If David Bowie made an appearance in "Dream Quest" it would be, without a doubt, a five-star film and also probably the best thing ever, period. The end. Either way, Jenna Jameson is pretty awesome in this one, if you like her, you will probably want to at least give this one a shot. This is a two-hour, high production-value porn, that kinda rocks my world.
OK, to be fair, "Dream Quest" was made in 1999. I've owned it for about six years, and for sure, the sex scenes are not spectacular or original and the acting and writing are standard for porn; it's corny and the plot falls apart in ten minutes. You're not going to see anything here that is going to knock your socks off or blow you away. Aside from the great costumes, makeup, and beautiful scenes, this film offers pretty standard girl-on-girl, girl-on-guy, two-girls-one-guy, orgy and so on. There is a scene with a "troll" but that's about as wild as it gets. This film does have hotter-than-average men in it, which is nice for the ladies (I don't get the creepy-dudes-being-standard in porn thing). The women in porn are generally fairly hot anyway, and this film is no exception.
I read over some of the other reviews of this DVD, and it seems that I'm in the minority here, seeing as how I actually really enjoy this porn. Over the years I've loaned it out to a few friends and everyone, both men and women, have been very pleased and entertained. On a side note, all of the people I've loaned it to have been huge fantasy geeks, so that would probably make them a bit biased. This is not a movie for everyone. I'm sure it will bore a lot of people, but I feel that those who enjoy costumes and fantasy and aren't looking for anything too hardcore will find "Dream Quest" to be somewhat brilliant.

I still like this DVD. The acting and story are still sub-par. The sex scenes are still not mind-blowing, but it's a classic in my eyes, and this porn just makes me freaking happy!
