Jessica(Pornochic 8) by Wicked Pictures - review by BrokeNHorny

This is the third film in the Pornochic series that I have watched and subsequently reviewed. Unfortunately, it's also the worst. I had previously reviewed 6 and 15, and found them both to be decent films, each in their own right. I liked 6 for the atmosphere and sexy scene setups, and I liked 15 for its variety and intensity. 8 unfortunately, has neither of these things, but still has the flaws of the other two.

The scene setups are still here, but in a diminished capacity. Some setups encompass more than one scene, and the setups are barebones at best. It doesn't give you any further information past these people are probably about to have sex (which, in porn, is pretty self evident). There are very few scenes to begin with, and there isn't anything tying them together. It doesn't even keep the stylish black lingerie that gave the other films an sexy stylization.

While this is technically a Wicked production, it was filmed in France with a European cast. It includes Jessica Fiorentino,Sarah Twain,Frank Mayor,J.P.X.,Lauro Giotto,Liliane Tiger,Petty,Sylvia Laurent,Ian Scott,Caroline Cage, and Jane Darling. There are a total of 6 scenes in the film, although less if you count by the scene setups. The content is fairly mainstream throughout. It looks as if they thought that earlier iterations, such as 6, weren't hardcore enough, and threw anal in just about every scene to amp it up. There are two threesomes, a group sex scene of sorts, and one out of left field bout of foot fetishism. It really doesn't do anything new, or better.

The technical aspects of this DVD are shameful. The scene cuts have no consistency. Despite having 6 scenes, there are 8 scene cuts. One for the intro(the beginning of the intro), one for each scene, with one randomly having two. The cuts sometimes are at the beginning of the setup, sometimes halfway through. It just reeks of laziness. The special features are forgettable, with behind the scenes, trailers and two condom adverts.

Aside from the bad formatting, the film quality is very poor, even for 2004. It looks like it was shot and recorded by complete amateurs. The lighting is inconsistent, the sound and music drops in and out, and the camera angles are poorly executed. Pepper in some oddly creepy close ups of the male faces, inconsistent tones and speeds, and you've got a recipe for bad filming.

This is not a good film. It was badly filmed, sloppily edited, and overall lacks character. It is priced lower than other films in the series, and for good reasons. If you want romance, try 6. If you want action, try 15. There is a bit of good action to be found here, but it is buried under the low quality.
