Flasher by Vivid - review by uberdork

The DVD case for "Flasher" said that, and I quote, "This Film is Overexposed." What it neglected to mention is that this isn't necessarily a good thing. I can understand rampant nudity not only from a porno film, let alone one about a woman who has a compulsion to expose herself in public, but this was just too much of a not so good thing.

Savannah Samson plays a woman who, as stated above, gets off on flashing people in public, and having public sex. All in all, not a bad premise for an adult movie, but it's just not executed well. The fact that I can't remember the name of Savannah Samson's character should tell you that this was a far from memorable movie. Truth be told, I kind of zoned out about a quarter of the way through it.

The basic premise is that Savannah Samson gets off on showing off, is looking for a job from her bitch of a mother, and trying to get a TV show. Or something. To be honest the plot, such as it was, was really inconsistent. Not only that, but you're not invested in the main character at all. From the beginning of the movie with the deep throat contest where Savannah is showing off her tits, to the last scene where she's finally fucking her roommate, you just don't really care about her. And to be honest, I really didn't care to see who she was going to fuck next.

None of the sex was really all that good, and I could have done without the anal sex scenes (I'm not a big fan of watching a guy shove his dick in someone's ass, and one guy in a scene in a tattoo parlor pretty much does just that). And there are scenes in a tattoo shop that you hope doesn't happen in a tattoo shop, especially for those of us with ink. If someone's having sex in a chair that other people will be sitting in when they have high powered needles putting ink under their skin, you really hope they clean the place.

There were a few plusses. Savannah Samson's pierced nipples were nice to look at, but that's about it. "Flasher" is one of those movies that I could have gone the rest of my life without seeing.

This was a very boring, contrived, and forced movie. Honestly, this isn't even a porno where I would fast-forward through the "plot" to get to the sex.
