Jessica Drake's Guide to Anal is a great DVD. If you are looking for lots of porn, it's not quite going to cut it, but it really teaches you a lot.

We are semi-experienced in the anal department, and like it here and there, but it usually isn't at the top of our lists of favorite things to do. After watching this, I realized that a lot of that probably had to do with the way we were going about it. This DVD had great instructions on how to get in the mood, and how to gently ease into things. My wife was watching it with me, and after we watched it, I employed some of the techniques, and she was all for it. It was the best back-door experience we've had.

If you are a seasoned back-door player, I think that this DVD would still teach you a thing or two. And regardless, the somewhat short 'demonstration' scenes at the end are worth the price of the DVD anyways.

Now for the technical things:
The DVD is hosted by Jessica Drake, who is a porn star. She introduces you to two couples, and it seemed like she was trying to make them come across as 'regular' couples, but they were also porn stars. Which then made me wonder if they were actually even 'couples' in the commitment sense of the word, or just 'couples' because they paired them together for this DVD.

Basically, the format was that Jessica would introduce you to the next subtopic while standing on her set that looked like a waiting room, or conference room, and then the 'couples' would talk about them while sitting on the couches, and then there would be a demonstration of what was just talked about. Examples are: warming up the area, gentle touching, anal toys, etc.

It actually was interesting to listen to. It wasn't cheesy, for the most part. And as I mentioned, the wife was actually ASKING for it after this DVD, and that never happens. And since then, we've been a lot more experimental, and things have been a lot more enjoyable for her in that department.

I would recommend this to anyone who is thinking about anal play, or those who have tried it in the past and found it unenjoyable!
