The Fling by Wicked Pictures - review by SkylarrStarr

The local sex shop usually has a pretty good deal on DVDs. On one occasion, my Boyfriend and I were on a hunt for Brooke Banner movies. After digging and finding two compilation DVDs featuring her, we needed one more to take advantage of the Buy-2-Get-1 Special. And BINGO...he pulled The Fling out of the Wicked Pictures section. "THIS HAS BROOKE IN IT!," he said rather loudly. I liked the looks of the cover, and we had been in there for A LONG time, so The Fling it was. I have included an overview of the film, my opinions, a brief description of the sex scenes and the DVD specs.

OVERVIEW:
The main characters in this film, Jessica Drake and Randy Spears, are about to marry and are both having doubts about spending the rest of their sexual lives together. The body of the film is the two seeking out a final fling before they tie the knot.

OPINION:
The home where the majority of the film takes place fit the story and did not look creepy or seedy in any way. Overall, the locations flowed well and appeared comfortable. I felt the lighting left a little to be desired. In some cases, it was too dim and in others there were some harsh shadows that could have been easily corrected. The camera angles were very predictable, as was the progression of the sex in the scenes. The scene that was the most creative is the scene with Jessica Drake and her real-life partner Brad Armstrong. It featured more variation in camera angles and seemed more personal, which I feel is due to the connection the actors already had. The acting was passable, as far as porn goes. Randy Spears always does a great job and is sooooo classy! Brooke Banner is just super cute and fresh in the film and she adds life to the scenes she is in. I just wish she was in it more! A scene with her and Jessica Drake would have been a nice addition.

SCENES:
The first scene features Jessica Drake and Barrett Blade in a flashback, which features her stroking and sucking skills...short overall. It is the flashback that triggers the Fling Deal.

The next scene is slow and sweet, with Jessica and Randy. It follows pretty standard structure...oral, oral, penetration, finish. Not the most creative, but it's soft enough to appeal to porn beginners.

Scene three features my favorite, Brooke Banner(credited only as BROOKE) in a BBG with Franco del Torro and Johnny Castle. This is not a DP scene, and there is no anal at all. She shows of her oral skills on both guys, and they take turns with her.

Jessica's next scene is with Brad Armstrong, which is THE FLING. They progress from oral, into warming up for and then anal penetration, finishing with a facial.

The fourth scene is Veronica Rayne with Steven St. Croix, in a office setting. She is the secretary, he's the dirty boss. Fairly standard set up, with nothing crazy or wild.

The final scene is intended to be Randy's FLING with Faith, Tory Lane and Diana Doll. After some minor foreplay action, Randy escapes to let the ladies go at it alone, leaving them to lick and kiss each other.

SUMMARY:
Overall, this is a fairly tame, standard porn film. I feel it would be a good choice for couples, based on the themes running through out. If you are a Jessica Drake fan, this film showcases her talents very well. Not the best if you are looking to see Brooke Banner. It was cool to see her so young, though! The Fling didn't get us wildly excited on it's own, but it set the stage for further play.

This is still a good go-to film. It isn't my favorite, but it is not at the bottom of the barrel, either. I still wish there was a little more Brooke...
