The sex game - adult game discontinued by Ariel books - review by Colossus

I was actually surprised when my girlfriend gave me this little game for my birthday. She's not the type of overly sexual, so I took the hint that she wanted to change things up in the bedroom a little bit. The Sex Game did a pretty good job of that, and provided one of the most fun and different sexual experiences I've had in a long time. First-- let's set the record straight; this isn't for someone looking for a hardcore or super risque product. It is very subtle. I think I would most recommend this product for a couple who has been together for an extended period of time and is looking to learn something about each other, or vary up the routine in some way. You aren't going to get crazy sex position ideas from this box, but instead, you're likely to lengthen out the foreplay process. The game works using a spinner that can stop on four things: foreplay card, x-rated card, probing thoughts, and kiss partner and spin again.

First, the foreplay card: These include actions like "embrace my _______", "snuggle my ____________" or even "partner's choice". Then there's the X-rated cards, which are pretty similar, except they take it up another notch, with cards like "bite my _______", or "rub my _______". For those astute readers out there, I assume you're starting to recognize a repetitive patter, which is where the sex game falls a little short in my opinion. I would have liked a little bit more variety, possibly even something a little more risque to hold the gentleman's attention.

However, I would agree with the other reviewers that the best part of the sex game is probably the Probing Thoughts section. Here, you get to ask intimate questions to your partner, which would otherwise be too awkward to ask in normal conversation. Some sample questions include "act out a sex scene from a favorite movie" (many possibilities there... hmmm) and "disclose a favorite fantasy". These are pretty good questions, but then there are pretty stupid ones too, like: "sing a verse from your favorite love song". I'm pretty sure if I tried to sing, it would ruin the moment, so I would disregard that one if I ever got it, haha.

Overall, the Sex Game isn't perfect. It lacks the edginess to really take it over the edge for me. BUT- before I render a final verdict, I have to confess that I really feel like this game is designed for the ladies in mind. Since most women enjoy longer foreplay and a deeper emotional connection during their sexual experience, I think this is a great product for those girls out there. As for the guys, well, sometimes we just kinda have make sacrifices and give the ladies what they want once in awhile. This is a pretty good way to give her just what she wants.

The first night we used this game, my girlfriend wore some new lingerie for me. We just talked and laughed at some of the things the cards told us to do. It was also nice because it lengthened the overall sexual experience. It was also kind of interesting with my roommate sleeping in the next room... definitely gave a thrilling edge to everything we did. My favorite was when I made her touch herself on my bed for a full minute. It was cool seeing her really get into it. :o)

This is still a fun little game to whip out on boring nights to add some spice. Keeps things fun and brings an element of surprise into the bedroom. Would recommend to those who want to mix it up
