Bondage 101 review

First of all, this bondage thing is a bit new to me. I am not sure I personally like it. But I was willing to review it as a game. Really I did not find it to be much of a game though. Most of the time adult games involve playing a while with various parts of the game pieces. That is not really how Bondage 101 works.

What you get are cards with suggestions for men and women to do to one another in bondage situations. Like spank your partner harder and harder until they say stop and then have sex. (OK, I made that a lot simpler than what the card actually says. The cards are good.) But unless you are real creative or want very badly to try to make this work as I did, you will only use one card per game. It is sort of like open the box, take out all the pieces (blindfold, very small paddle, silk scarf, dice, and cards), roll the dice, find the card indicated by the role of the dice, do what’s on the card;, and put everything away until next time. Hum! Not really much of a game.

Did I mention that the paddle was small? You must understand, my husband is six feet, two inches tall and weighs about 280 pounds. The paddle is about six inches long, three of which is a handle. This leaves a paddle head of about three inches long by two and a half inches wide.

Do this fun experiment with me. Close your eyes for a few seconds while imagining a 280 pound man being paddled by a three inch wooden paddle. Yup, we laughed too. Makes you feel like a real dominatrix (hehehe).

The cards are very adventurous. In fact, if you buy this, buy it for the cards. They have some really neat combinations of sexual adventures that you will enjoy. If you really wanted to, you could just keep the cards by the side of the bed, draw one out, and do what it says. It could make for fun sessions of sex for months without the dice or hassle of the box. The blindfold is well made and comfortable. The silk scarf is very soft and nice. It is all made really well, just not that much really of a game; more like nightly sex instructions on a deck of playing cards.

I still give Bondage 101 two stars. The activities on the cards look like fun. We will use the blindfold and silk ties. But if you want to paddle someone, plan on getting another paddle (or a much smaller husband).
