Erotic Love Notes|Erotic love notes is a fun little can of notes to inspire you and your lover. The notes come in a nice little metal canister (albeit, with a rather tacky picture on the top), and are of nice quality—heart-shaped, with a glossy finish. The can is rather misleading, though, promising “69 Ways To Get It On!” There are indeed 69 cards in the tin (plus a few extra blank cards for adding your own suggestions), but quite a few of the suggestions are repeated.

The quality of the suggestions on the cards varies drastically. There are a lot of ho-hum, tried-and-true techniques that most moderately sexually adventurous people will have already tried, such as road head, chocolate syrup and whipped cream play, erotic photography, and making love in nothing but high heels (unless you BOTH decide to wear the high heels, if you’re a hetero couple—that dramatically ups the kink factor!). Most of the cards fall, for me, into the “effective but unoriginal” category, such as wearing costumes (yes, I have a closet full, surprise surprise!), tongue baths, making love in a chair, trying at least 5 positions during a single lovemaking session, having sex in a new room of the house, and making love in front of a mirror.

There were a few suggestions I found to be fairly new and promising, such as simply staring at your partner for several minutes, reenacting the first time you had sex, or (probably my favorite) getting in a sleeping bag naked together. None of the suggestions are mind-blowingly unique, but some of these sounded like fun and are things I would not have though of on my own.

Then there are a few cards that just fall into the “weird” or “silly” category for me—naked pillow fights, anyone? (Ok, that one might be fun.) Some other examples are eating a popsicle suggestively or exercising together naked (not my idea of erotic, unless you are both hardbodied gods).

All in all, the quality on this product (except the cover art) is quite nice, and some of the suggestions are fun and would make good suggestions to tuck into unexpected places for a lover to find. I am not sure the set as a whole is worth the price, however.

Nothing earth-shattering about this product, but the notes are large enough and durable enough we've had fun placing them in lunch bags, on pillows, and in hidden spots without them blowing away with the slightest breeze. A fun little product!
