Fun, but not xxx fun.

This is a great game if you are looking for something fun to do with your partner or close friends. It's light humored and silly, but not "hardcore" sex acts.

Truth, Dare or Chocolate is a fun adult board game for a single couple or group of close friends. The game consists of a player board and team tokens, two jars of chocolate (cherry chocolate and regular chocolate), and paintbrush, blank cards for your "ultimate dares", and two decks of stencil cards and truth/dare cards (one question for truth, one for dare per card). The game is played by spinning a dial on the board and following the topic it lands on. Players or teams receive points by completing these tasks. When you reach 20 points you win.

If you are looking for something erotic, dirty, sensual, or any other word describing some sort of explicit act, then this game is not really for you. This game is mainly a fun adult game with no "hardcore" sex acts involved. . . or really any romantic acts either (beyond licking chocolate off each other). This game involves light humor, fun dares, simple questions, etc. It's just not a "dirty" game, if that's what you are looking to play.

However, I enjoyed this game for what it is. The rules were simple to understand, set up was easy, everything you need to play right in the box. The chocolate was great, it is gourmet, none of that chocolate flavored chemical compound, it's the real deal. We had the most fun painting the stencils and licking them off through out the game.

The dare cards are all over the place, a lot of them not involving any racy acts at all. Like, "go eat something nasty from the refrigerator," as an example. And some of the higher point dares you might not want to do, like "run to the road in your underwear." But it's all in good fun.

The truth cards I can see being more interesting with another couple or if you are a new couple. But being married, we knew the answers to a lot of them already. So, they weren't as revealing as they could of been.

I won the game, beating my husband. But it was fun, and we continued to play the cards and spin the dial without the need of points. We enjoyed ourselves and I find this game a nice way to pass the time one-on-one.

Did it work very well for the two of you to provide some "warm up" for more explicit activities, or did it not really work in that way either? Thanks for the honest review.

The chocolate was great for "warming up", but when we got the the part where he was eating gross things from the frig., it was a turn off. So, i wouldn't say it was a good "warm up" kinda game. But let it be known i will be breaking out that chocolate again, with or with out the game.

Why was he eating gross things from the fridge? a dare? Do you reuse or toss the stencils?

It was one of the dares. The game doesn't really have "stencils." It has cards with easy to draw images for you to copy from. But, the images are real easy and uncomplicated. Stuff like flowers, hearts, smiley faces, etc. One was even a baseball.
