Dirty minds - adult game by TDC Games Inc - review by ~LaUr3n~

Looking for a fun adult game that doesn't require spilling intimate details about yourself? Dirty Minds is a riddle based game that is a good group entertainment for adults, single or taken. All you need is one friend. 2-6 people can play this game. I venture that you could easily make it in a group game as well. The dirtier your mind is, the worse you will actually do at this game which can end up being quite funny. Alcohol is not required, but would probably make the answers even funnier!

The purpose of the game is to go around a board and then try to solve a dirty riddle. The way the riddle is presented leads you to believe that the answer is also dirty, but really isn't. You have to get your mind out of the gutter to win this game. Each player is given a puzzle book from which they randomly choose riddles to read to the player they have to read to.

Depending on the space you land on, you will be read a short riddle or a riddle story. By guessing the answers correctly, or by landing on certain spaces, you collect cards with letters of dashes (-) on them. In order to win the game, you have to spell D-I-R-T-Y. Yes, you have to collect the dashes too! If you guess wrong after the first free guess that you are given, you lose cards. Seems hard, but it actually took less than 45 minutes for someone to win.

You can choose to guess on the first clue. This awards you the most amount of cards. So for example, the first clue could be

"I get laid in an alley,". If you guessed correctly, you would get 3 cards and the play would go to the next person.If you have no clue, you can guess for free once and ask for another clue.

"I often end up in the middle of your split,". If you still have no clue, you could guess and if you got it right, you would get 2 cards. OR, you could pass to the next player (unless there are only 2 players). They would then have a chance to guess and win a card. You could also guess, but if you get it wrong you would lose a card. You could then ask for the last card or pass.

"When your fingers slip inside of me, I’m ready to go." The answer is of course, a bowling ball. If you got it on this try, you would get one card. If no one wanted to take a guess, nothing else happens.
Play continues until someone collects all the cards to spell D-I-R-T-Y. Some of the riddles are really easy, but there were some that no one I have ever played with has guessed correctly. There also are not that many riddles in the books, but you could totally make up your own if you are creative enough.

The game is simple is design. The box is square and sturdy and is fairly discreet in that it doesn't have any graphic pictures on it. It does have the words "DIRTY MINDS" large across the front though. The game includes everything needed to play, including the pencils which are used to mark off the riddles that have already been read. The game says it has 906 clues and 302 answers. This really means that there are 302 riddles. The board is sturdy and easy to read. The path for the pawns is in the shape of a human's profile. You just go round and round until the game ends.

We had some good laughs during this game, but sometimes were frustrated with the difficulty of the riddles. I got a little bored with it as the game went on and wished there were more elements to the game other than just simply solving riddles. I had a good time, but this isn't a game I would want to play often or would go to first. Because of these things, I give it 3 stars. It is cheap enough to be worth adding to an adult game collection though.
