I'm bad, and I collect penis shaped things. Mostly for the novelty factor of showing my friends. This was really no exception.

The tray itself is a relatively hard plastic, just this side of opaque. Still pretty easy to see through, but nothing clearly. It comes in a plastic bag with a little cardboard flap at the top. The cardboard bit doesn't give you much information other than their website, and that this tray is sold as a novelty only, etc.

While the tray is that relatively hard plastic, it's still pretty flexible. I had no problems getting all of my penises out, although I've found that it's a lot easier to twist the tray and pop them out onto a plate or into a large bowl rather than trying to go the traditional route and twist the tray face up and dig out a chunk.

Since the tray itself is also pretty small, about 4"x8", you can easily line up a few in your freezer to make more than one tray at a time. Its small size also lends itself well to very small freezers like those in mini-fridges.

Filling it up with water is pretty easy, although since there's no raised edge around each form, whatever you put in there will probably spill if you fill it to the top. If you're going to fill it with anything other than water, I find that putting that liquid into a measuring cup or something else with a spout first is the best way to do it without making a huge mess.



Since the penis forms come out pretty shallow, at least as far as ice cubes go, the shafts start to melt fairly quickly, and also disappear pretty quickly when put in a drink too. The balls last a little bit longer, but not much.



You can fill this tray up with just about anything that will freeze. Freezing cubes made out of fruit punch to toss into a larger bowl at a party will keep your punch cold without watering anything down at all. Of course you'll either want to start a few days ahead of time and just plop all the penises into a big bowl in the freezer or buy a whole bunch of these if that's what you want to do.

The packaging doesn't tell you how to clean it, or whether or not it's dishwasher safe. For the price, I was ok with learning the hard way if it wasn't. Turns out, it is. At least it was when I ran it through.

I'll admit, this was an impulse purchase at the end of an order, but I'm still pretty happy with it. I think it's only real downside is that there's only 5 to a tray, but the trays are cheap enough that you can slowly stock up on them and not break the bank.

Not a must have item, but it's worth a gander if you're looking to make penis shaped ice cubes.
