Love to Run my Fingers.....

I was not that excited by these cards, they were cliche poses, featuring only a few pictures that I would say have the "Wow" factor.

While browsing the cards, it becomes apparent that these cards are for most anyone that is interested in spicing up a card game. What better on a rainy day than a few nice looking men in your hand? And you can swap them out without recriminations!

Rules / Content

A standard 52 card deck with 2 jokers, any card game that you can play can be played with this deck. I wouldn't advise trying to play gin rummy with great aunt Sue, but the cards are pretty much usable in any type of game you can think of.

Design

The cards are printed on good stock, nice and sturdy so they should last a long time. The back design is simply the Colt logo, the cards themselves feature nicely taken photographs and it's easy to tell which card is which.

Personal comments

While the construction of the cards is nice, you would think that the models would be nicer looking. All in all they are a novelty but not something that I personally will use again. I was hoping for something to add spice to a card game, but for me they didn't do so.

Follow-up commentary I still don't like it 1 month after original review

I will be honest here, I decided maybe my original review was too harsh so I decided to play a card game with one of my female friends using these cards. It turned into a critique of the guys and my original viewpoint stands, the idea is great, but the poses are way too outdated and the guys could seriously use some updating as well.

Thanks for the review, but I don't get why you rated this 1 star. They worked well, weren't cheap & you just didn't think the men weren't updated enough in pose or looks, right? How may points did you take off for not liking the men, 4?
