Never Leave Home Without Them!

I guess with batteries it comes down to the fact that I can always pop new batteries in a toy. I can’t always pop new batteries into a partner (actually I should probably never pop batteries in a person...).

Batteries, what can one say about batteries? As batteries go, these are very battery-like.
These are your average, run of the mill, AA Duracell batteries. They come in your average, run of the mill, battery packaging. There are 4 in the package.

They are not extra long running batteries, they are not rechargeable. They are exactly what they say they are: AA batteries; your classic work horse good for everything from your kid's toys to your toys (make sure you do not get those two confused).

I suppose, as they are simply batteries, they would not be considered anything to worry about having lying around. Unless of course you’re me. See, everyone I know knows all my gadgets have lithium ion rechargeables, so when they see battery lying around it’s not a big jump to realize they’re probably for toys.

I realize that for a site like EdenFantasys, it makes sense to sell batteries in small packs. After all, the goal of marketing is to keep your customer coming back and buying. However, I wish they would carry rechargeables and bigger packs.

There are few things in life more lamentable than wanting to play and being out of batteries. I guess for that reason Edenfantasys is kind of genius. Batteries often get battery-napped in my house so it is not uncommon for me to throw in a pack of batteries when ever I place an order just to make sure I will be able to play with my new toys.

Realistically, this is probably not a great price for batteries but I admit I am often willing to pay a smidge more for convenience. I never seem to remember to grab batteries when I am out about shopping so it is nice to be able to add them to an order.
Follow-up commentary
Well, what can I say? The batteries have long since been used but they served me well. EF batteries always seem to last a good long time so I got my money's worth out of them!

Actually $3.99 is at least a buck less than I have seen for 4 AA Duracell batteries...even at Walmart they are more!

This is a great price for Duracells. Fact is, these are the ONLY batteries I use in ANY toys now...and we have LOTS. I have had too many leakage issues with other brands...TOP NAME brands of alkaline batteries. These are the best. Period.

  • Packaging for Batteries
    • I'd really like to know what packaging the AA batteries 4-pack comes in. The picture doesn't show. I've bought the N batteries, and those came in your "traditional" cardboard backing with plastic on front, but then I bought C batteries and they were just four C batteries rolled into a plastic baggie.

I want to purchase these to donate to the local women's shelter, but they'll only accept unwrapped items, so I need to know if it comes in "normal" battery packaging or if it will just be batteries in a plastic baggie. Anyone know?
    • I've purchases this numerous times and they've always come traditionally packaged.
    • The packaging is a thin cardboard square with the plastic shell on the front holding the batteries like when you buy batteries from the store. The cardboard is really generic without any brand name on it. It just says "alkaline batteries" and it's black with white letters... but the batteries are indeed Duracell's and they have the name on them.

      Hope that helps.
