Pin the macho on the man - adult game by Pipedream - review by Kayla

Pin the Macho on the Man is a Pipedream Products game that includes two different sheets of paper. This game is just a take on the game "Pin the Tail on the Donkey".

I can't comment on the specifics of the packaging since I received this in a large Bachelorette Party Kit box (which EF used to sell but apparently does not anymore) from Pipedream Products. However, the items do come folded square-foot folds so it's really easy to unfold.

Usually I go, "Really Kayla? You want to review two pieces of paper. Yeah, that's just stupid", but in this case I made an exception because so many things are different than what the eye can see with just the pictures alone on this one.

Basically, the set is just two large pieces of paper. One page is a page of the penises while the other page is the man poster. Both pages are two feet wide and three feet tall. They aren't made from high-quality paper, but it's definitely a thicker paper that has that "sheen" to it that makes it a pain to write with a pen on it. However, you can still tear the paper pretty easily, so be careful when unfolding it. The paper is also pretty lightweight, so regular pieces of paper will stick it ot the wall (or some duct tape or clear packaging tape).

The man on my poster is different (probably a newer version), but it's basically the same type of guy. Instead of holding a towel, the new guy is holding his hands in front of his genitals (which is still covered by the bull's eye target, so his hands weren't really needed.) In the background, there are some little party pieces of paper in the air, and you can see some pubic hair near his crotch.

So how do you play? I'm sure you guys all know. You tape the poster to a wall and guests take turns attempting to "pin" their penis on the man. The guest should have their eyes blindfolded then the hostess spins them in a circle a few times before allowing them to go at the poster with the penis. The instructions recommend writing their name on the poster wherever the penis lands or using sticky tack or tape to tape the penis on. Whatever guest accumulates the most points is supposed to win the poster. There is no blindfold included, so you will have to find your own blindfold or scarf.

While this game alone would be fun, Pipedream did add in another aspect - descriptions. You can't see from the picture, but each little pecker has a description on it with a "blank" to write in a name such as "Every student has fun, and the first lesson learned is two heads are better than one!" on the penis that has two heads on it. Before the game, the hostess is supposed to go through and figure out which one of the guests the description most applies to, then write their name on the penis, and that's one of the penises that guest gets to attach to the "Macho". The instructions recommend each guest using their favorite penis as their "name tag" and allowing guests to take home the penises as door prizes as well.

There are 25 total penises - 15 with the descriptions on them and ten "generic" penises. The generic ones just don't have any descriptions on them. The penises include things like a zebra penis, a rocket penis, a tiger penis, a fire hose, a rocket penis, and all sorts of other things. The biggest downside: THEY ARE NOT PERFORATED. Like, I can not stress that enough, because you will need to sit down before your party and cut out each individual penis with scissors. (I opened this up ten minutes to party time expecting them to be perforated.)

This game can be reused if you don't send your guests home with the poster or penises or don't write on the penises. However, for the price, you might as well let your guests have some of the fun taken home.

The game is fun. Pipedream made a good poster game that is cheap, really easy to set up (would have been easier with perforation), and is something that would work great at a bachelorette party. It was a fun game to play, and I'd recommend it if you know you have a gathering coming up.

We liked it okay the first time around, but the second time around, you really need to get a new set or have some leftover pins from the first party. As the set allows you to write on the pins, you won't have any extra ones if you use the full set the first time around.
