Naughty heel stocking - gags discontinued by Sportsheets - review by Breas

The Naughty Heel Stocking by Sportsheets is available in black or red. I had purchased the red stocking. I’m the type of person to start looking for Christmas gifts quite early in the year. I purchased one of these stockings as well as one of the men’s boots stocking. I have quite a few people to buy for but I purchased one of each first just to ensure the quality, size, etc was what I was looking for.

The Naughty Heel Stocking does not have any packaging to it. There is a cardboard tag attached to the stocking though. The tag folds like a card. The front of the card has a holiday look and says, “Tease the Season Collection” and “Naughty Stocking”. The inside of the card says “To:” and “From:”. The back of the card states the company name, company website, company contact information, and has a barcode. You could always remove the tag if you wanted to.

The stocking is a shiny red vinyl with a white, faux fur trim at the top. There is a loop at the top side of the stocking so you can hang it up if you want. The stocking is cute but has a fairly cheap look to it. It does not look like a product that would cost $12.



I showed my partner the two stockings (the male and the female one), and he said that this one was ugly and looks cheap. I don’t think it’s ugly but it definitely has a cheap look and feel to it, especially when comparing it to the men’s stocking.

Length (not including trim): 12 ½ inches
Length of trim: 2 inches
Width: 5 ½ - 6 inches

The width at the ankle area (assuming this was an actual heel) is 5 ½ inches and the very top of the stocking has a width of 6 inches. I purchased the stocking to fill with gifts so I am going to explain a few things about the stocking for this purpose. If you plan on using the stocking for appearance only, then you won’t have these issues.

The toe area of the boot comes to a point. The top of the foot area is approximately 3 ¾ inches wide. The point at the toe makes it a bit more difficult to stuff the stocking with gifts, unless you have very small items to put in this area of the stocking.

Another area of the stocking that was a problem was the heel. Unless you plan on throwing a single piece of gum in the stocking, this area will probably be too small for you. The heel of the stocking is just less than 2 ½ inches in length and 1 inch wide.

If you wanted either of these areas to look “full”, you could always stuff them with tissue paper. The stitching to the stocking is done neatly and there were no loose threads anywhere. If you were to get anything on the vinyl material, you can easily wipe it off with a bit of soap and water.

Since there is only so much I can say about a stocking, I figured I’d tell you a few products that I own that can fit into the stocking and could make great gift ideas. In the photo below, you can see that the stocking looks a bit warped with things in it. I didn’t stuff the toe or heel with tissue paper so doing that may make a difference



The following items were put into the stocking for the photo above: Body Dew Silky Body Oil, Venus Body Scrub, Ultra Moisturising Shave Cream, and Simply Sexy Fragrance. There was a tiny bit of room left after adding those items. I probably could have fit 2 more of the little fragrance bottles if I had them. An example of one of the things I tried to fit in the stocking by itself was the Treasures of the Sea but it was far too large for the stocking.

Overall, it’s a cute novelty item but not really practical for stuffing with presents. The pointy toe and thin heel make it difficult. Also, when my partner and I compare this stocking to the men’s stocking by Sportsheets, this one does not compare. I’m glad I only purchased one of these to decide whether I wanted more. Needless to say, I won’t be getting another. I’ve given the stocking a 3 out of 5 because even though it didn’t work for me, it’s cute and nice for a novelty item.

I ended up giving this to my sister the other day with a couple of presents in it. She liked the stocking because it is unique but I still wouldn't recommend it. While the stocking is unique, it is just too hard to fit any presents in it and it has that cheap look to it. The only way I'd purchase another is if it were on clearance at a deeply discounted price.
