Being a couple that always likes to play games and both being competitive, we ordered The Sex Game. After playing it several times, we decided it is a great game and really helps a couple get to know each other and their wants and desires. Having been married for 24 plus years now, it is so easy to get into a rut and forget that there are lots of other options. This game helped us remember other actions and features about each other.

It is a simple game to play. There is a spinner, two sets of cards, and a booklet. Nothing complicated, just spin the spinner, chose the card that the spinner lands on, and refer to the booklet for the Probing Thought. Then follow out the directions. I personally liked the Probing Thoughts although some of them were more difficult to do and we actually skipped some of them. They were a little more than either of us wanted to do and we wanted to keep the game fun and lighthearted. Hubby liked the draw cards, especially the X-rated ones, but then he would take them and change around what they said to make them read what he wanted. It took me a few turns to figure out what he was doing and then I made him start showing me the cards. I let him keep changing the cards, which ended up being more fun for me! We also added the feature of a time limit for the action to be carried out. Here is where I wanted to cheat- I tried to add extra time to my cards, especially rubs and such.

This is a fun game and we have played it multiple times. There is no time limit and therefore the game can end whenever you like. I would recommend it to any couple that wants to have fun and get to know each other a little better. It is also a good means to improve the communication skills between a couple. The game is not gender specific and could be used with any couple, regardless of their sex.
