This is great if you're 19 and awkward about sex.

This item would be worth it for those who really need a boost to increase communication in the bedroom but is really rather dull for those who know how to communicate well.

Pros
Good for very young couples with limited experience or shy folks.

It looked like a cheesy 1960's feeling game from the outside packaging but the instructions had me hopeful. The cheesy picture of a woman crawling on a man's chest and the name of the game seemed a bit much.

The premise of the game is that you and your partner each take turns reading out a card and then both of you answer the question. If the person reading the card's answer is the same as the one just answering the one just answering scores a point. The idea is to get dialogue going about your sex life. Great, I thought, this isn't so bad and has potential to be actually fun. That was before we started to play.

With questions like "where in the house would you like to have sex that you haven't already?" when you already have lived together a long time seems just trite and boring. When the question "one place that would be fun to streak" came up I felt like I was in high school all over again. Really this would only work for couples who have no capacity to communicate sexually and, well, we do.

There were also weird questions like "what unusual sex toy would you use during a love-making session". I mean, what counts as an unusual sex toy??

We tried this game with our hopeful optimistic natures but had to skip a number of cards because they were either stupid, laughable, or weird. Occasionally we came across ones that actually stretched our imaginations. I truly think this game would be far better if it had more questions to do with fantasies or role play for a more mature audience. It has potential for being something to rev up ones love life if it got more into the creative sexual questions. I desperately want to re-write the game!
Follow-up commentary
We tried this again but it still lacks for the experienced player. It is good as a concept and I still feel strong desires to re-write the darn thing all over again.

But again for the very timid or inexperienced it can be an ice breaker and get some ideas going.

I hate games that are like that. Not everyone that likes sex games isn't under twenty anymore. Thanks for the great review. Smile

The desire to re-write it is exactly that Mistress Kay. It could actually be thought provoking with a little effort put into the game. It was on the edge of that with some of the questions. Perhaps an "expert" sex version for those of us with some experience.

I can't even think of an unusual sex toy, because everything I think of ends up seeming somehow appropriate.
