At $2.99 this is a great little gag that is sure to bring some smiles and joy to you and your partner.

Purpose / Audience

This is a cute little gag coupon book that I found just flipping around the site and decided I had to get it. I figured "heck, it's only $3 and if I don't like it I've spent more on worse."

It's designed for couples of any kind as a cute way to add some romance back into the relationship, or even just keep it going. There are some coupons however that could be used as a way to spend some bonding time with family or a close friend, as long as you don't mind the back saying "Hugs 'n Kisses Couples Coupon Book."

Rules / Content

I don't think it gets any easier than this: pick a coupon, and present it to your partner.

Altogether there are 27 coupons that all have some sort of description on them, some cute, some practical, and some romantic. Some examples are "A Romantic Night In - Naughty or Nice," "This Chore's For You..." with an option of dishes, laundry, car wash, run errands, babysit, and even an option to fill in on your own, "2 Hours of Your Undivided Attention," "An Outing With My Friends or Family (You'll go and be charming)," and there's even a straight up "Grant Me This Wish" fill in the blank one. I didn't list all of them, but the rest are just as nice. Some of these repeat as well, but that didn't really bother me one bit.

Design

What surprised me the most about this coupon book was how well made it was. I've seen a lot of these at stores like Spencers and even at some book stores and they were usually made out of just a cheap paper and cost more than this does. But this coupon book is made out of a lightweight cardstock with a matte gloss finish to it. I accidentally spilled some water on a coupon my fiance gave me and it just wiped right off and didn't smear a thing.

And the coupons are so easy to tear out too because the designer was thoughtful enough to add perforations that allow for very easy tearing. There's no little scraggles of paper left anywhere!

Also pretty fantastic is that you can save and reuse the coupons that don't require you to write anything on them, so be prepared for many "Romantic Nights In."

Each coupon itself measures about 7" long and 3" tall.

Personal comments

While this coupon book was made and printed in China it was assembled in the USA.

Experience

So far we've given each other a few of these. I just redeemed a romantic night in and we have a dinner date set up for Friday after work.

I just absolutely love how easily these come out of the book and how durable they are!
Follow-up commentary
These are still holding up well. Aside from the ones that were written on we've been able to reuse ones that we took a liking to. Edges are slightly worn but not in a way that would cause any harm to the coupons for now. Eventually we'll have to just buy a new book.

I still say that for the money, you absolutely can't go wrong with this adorable little coupon book.
