This tray is my daughters favorite tray to use now. I have mixed feelings about it though. It is super cute, but I wish it had a rim around it so it didn't make a wet mess trying to get it into the freezer. I don't know how many times I have had to clean up spills from my daughter filling it. The cubes could also be a little deeper to offset the no rim tray.

The tray is 7" in length, 4" in width (which is smaller than the average ice cube tray) & has 12 variable size hearts (from 1" - 2") on the pink tray. It is dishwasher safe; I put it on the top shelf just to be safe. It would be nice if it was a little more sturdy. If you fill the tray too full not only will it spill, the cubes may end up being one big cube with heart shaped bumps on it.

The little hearts are a cute touch to any drink. This is a great idea for a bridal shower, or any party. Kids love it! You can use it for a candy mold, Jello, or even a decorative soap mold. If you are going to make candy with it, I would spray it with Pam or something along those lines so it doesn't stick to the tray. The ice just pops out as you give it a gentle twist (be careful, they can slide out onto the floor). I do like that it doesn't leave a plastic flavor to the cubes.

For what it is, it is a little on the pricy side at $5.99. Especially considering that it only makes a dozen hearts, and is flimsy. I feel that for that price it should come in a 2 pack or be of a higher quality for that price.

The packaging is just a clear plastic bag with a cardboard top. It is held shut with two staples. The packaging is innocent and nonsexual. There are no directions on the package, but I'm sure you can figure out how to make ice.

As cute as it is, the design is horrible. I hate dealing with all the spills that happen almost every time it gets used. If I keep dealing with all these messes, it is going to end up in the trash can.
