iPlug by Doc Johnson

The iPlug by Doc Johnson is an anal vibe that is rather long, but not terribly thick until near the base. The material is quite stiff and smooth, it can only be bent slightly with a good amount of pressure and a thin lube will run off of it if applied directly. Speaking of lube, a water based or silicone lubricant are both safe to use with this toy and I would recommend condoms due to the low hygienic rating of the material. The vibrations are strong enough on the highest setting that it can quickly numb the sensitive tissue of the ass. Even the lowest setting has a good strong buzz to it. The iPlug's control pack has two buttons that you press up or down to cycle through the speed on one and the five functions on the other. The buttons have a bit of grip to them so slippery fingers shouldn't have any trouble changing the settings. The functions are: constant vibration, repeating short pulses, two short pulses followed by one long one, escalating quickly from the lowest to the highest vibration and then stopping altogether before beginning again, and rising to the highest vibration and then softening slowly before rising up again.

The toy has a bullet inside at the bump in the shaft that can be quite loud until inserted fairly far into the body. This toy would not be quiet enough to be discreet within thin walled rooms. Fortunately the noise is well matched with the strength of the vibe, but again start off slow or you may numb yourself before you have a chance to enjoy that power. Because of the hardness of the material, penetration with the iPlug is fairly easy; it's deeper penetration that can be uncomfortable because it is so stiff. The slender rounded tip of the toy is smooth and after the bead the toy has fine ribbing up to the point about two inches from the base where it widens and becomes smooth again. I usually find it too uncomfortable to go any deeper with the toy then around the point where it widens.

I have enjoyed this toy, though I find I have not used it very frequently. I would recommend other toys over this one due to the price and material risks. A great one with similar features but more bend to it is Silicone Flexi Power Rod.

The iPlug by Doc Johnson was my first anal vibe. I got it at a brick and mortar shop with the consultation of a good friend and a salesperson there. Mine is purple which is a color I haven't seen in online stores. (I also paid an insanely inflated price over what I later found it for online, grr!) When I first got it home and played with it I was not too excited. I was new to anal play and the stiffness and size of this toy was a bit daunting, the vibration was quite numbing to me because I went for the highest speeds immediately. I purchased a set of different sized bullets that I could plug into the control pack of the iPlug when I got it and enjoyed the strength and pulsation with them, despite the fact that they sounded like a helicopter landing in my apartment. After more experience with anal play, I have come back to this toy and enjoyed it quite a bit more. I still like my new silicone alternative better, and it was far more affordable, but the iPlug has its merits.
