A great first prostate toy. Or second. Or third ...

The Euphoria Enhanced is a great first anal/prostate toy, but don't take that to mean an experienced toyer won't enjoy it. It can be used manually or hands-free to give you a prostate massage you'll never forget. Highly recommended, though I'd love to see a little care put in to its manufacturing.

Pros

Use

The Euphoria Enhanced looks like a lot of other prostate massagers but has a couple features that separate it from the pack. It would be great for a man looking to explore the p-spot for the first time but experienced players will find a lot to like here as well, and it's one of the few hands-free massagers that can be called "multifunctional."

Material / Texture

The Euphoria Enhanced is made from hard plastic. The insertable part has a noticeably grainy texture, probably to help it hold on to lube. The actual grain is not noticable during use. The molding seam is quite obvious, particularly on the p-tab, where it was a bit irritating at first. You might want to spend some time polishing this thing up with an emery board or some extra-fine sandpaper before you use it, or you might want to put a little patch of moleskin or something on that p-tab. The rear curlicue handle is laughably flimsy. I was afraid to even touch it and would never, ever try manipulating the toy by that handle.

Design / Shape / Size

The Euphoria Enhanced is much less aggressively contoured than most prostate massagers. That's a good thing, particularly if you are new to anal/prostate play. The tip is about the size of a fingertip. The insertable part is gently tapered and has a triangular cross-section so it goes in easily. The mass of this device is concentrated low and the relatively slight contouring spreads the sensations out over a much wider area than other prostate toys. The lower handle allows you or a partner to manipulate the device inside you, something the Aneros people say should never be done with their devices. However, given the smallness of the tip and the gentler design, it's probably pretty safe to explore with this thing. A newcomer to prostate play would find it's a bit easier to find his prostate with this device than with his finger. It would be very possible to give yourself (or someone else) a good prostate massage just by manipulating it with the lower handle, though the handle is just a bit short for that purpose, particularly if it gets any lube on it.

I thought the gentle, bottom-heavy design would limit this thing's mobility in "hands free" mode (i.e., using only voluntary and involuntary muscle contractions to make it move) but wow, was I wrong. This little beast is quite active, and the more slippery it is, the more it gets after it.

Performance

The fairly blunt design gives stimulation over a wider area than other prostate-specific toys I've tried and as I mentioned, this thing can really move if it's well-lubricated. Once inserted it stays in very well and when your muscle contractions start, you're in for a rocket ride. The Euphoria Enhanced almost feels alive.

It needs lots and lots of lube, however, and not just any lube will work well. I used a liquid water-based lube and had to reapply it fairly frequently. A silicone lube would probably be best.

This isn't a terribly big toy but it feels quite a bit bigger than it looks, probably because it's so blunt and mobile.

Care and Maintenance

Soap and water should keep the Euphoria Enhanced clean. The instructions don't mention anything about dishwasher safety but I would assume it's not. It does clean up easily.

Packaging

You aren't going to save the package and it's not very "gifty." On the other hand, it was refreshing to open a plastic clamshell without having to resort to a hacksaw. The provided instructions are a bit brief but I give credit to the manufacturer for including an illustration for all the visual learners out there.

Personal comments

The only other prostate-specific toy I own is an Aneros Progasm. How does the Euphoria Enhanced compare to it? Very well, I think, though there are significant differences between the two. The Progasm provides more focused, deeper sensations, as you might expect from its aggressive contours. But the Euphoria Enhanced is significantly more agile and active than the Progasm. The Progasm moves rather slowly and deliberately; the Euphoria Enhanced is twitchier. They're both excellent toys and it's hard for me to say one is "better" than the other. The Euphoria Enhanced is a bit more versatile, however, and is a better choice for somebody new to anal and/or prostate play.

If you're chasing the "super orgasm" the Aneros folks talk about, the Progasm will be a better choice, I think. I got a few "super-O" type tingles from the Euphoria Enhanced but strangely they came more from the external p-tab than they did from the insertable part. However, the movements of the Euphoria Enhanced are unlike anything I've experienced from the Progasm and simply felt awesome.

Experience

This toy has given me several great orgasms and helped me burn off a lot of stress. I think with further experience things will only get better. I had some problems with the Progasm popping out just when things were getting interesting but the Euphoria Enhanced doesn't seem to have that problem. I wish it didn't drink up so much lube (or else I wish I had an unlimited supply of silicone lube) but that's a small quibble. A bigger quibble is the relatively sloppy finish of the device and the flimsy rear handle, which I plan to lop off anyway.
