The butt plug feels like it is a very durable product, that will last a long time with proper care.

I will start by saying that this was my first experience with a butt plug. The material used by this product is fairly firm, but had a forgiving layer on the outside that definitely helped ease my worries using it for the first time. Being this my first time using a plug, the size seemed a little scary at first. There was definitely some stretching that took place, but not so much that it was really uncomfortable.
Now is a good time to say that I would not skimp on the lube. Make sure to use plenty of it. After a few uses, the size seems to be just right. There is definitely enough to let you know that it's there, but not so much that it feels like you have a watermelon in your butt.
While play with this alone is ok, I would definitely use this while masturbating. The plug has enough of a bulge after the base, that I didn't have to worry about it falling out. It works like a product on an infomercial that I once saw, "Just set it and forget it!". But have no fear, you won't forget it. The toy sticks in far enough that a little prostate stimulation takes place. Also, climaxing reaches a whole new level.

Glad your first plug experience was a good one! The rubber material is actually very porous and cannot be sterilized (in addition to containing chemicals that aren't great for your body)--so it's recommended that toys of this material are covered with a condom during play for safety. While it may seem sterile, it's not. Rubber is highly porous and harbors bacteria; whenever it's exposed to fluids the material will breakdown at a faster rate, and as those fluids can't be fully washed off, you'll be prone to infection. Condoms are recommended, even if the toy isn't being shared, to keep you clean & safe and to prolong the life of your toy.
